For those of us who have already taken boards, please answer a few questions that might help ease the minds of those who are still waiting to test or for results. I know reading as much as possible about other people's experience helped me feel a little bit better while I waited.
1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX?
2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course?
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)?
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting?
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)?
6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX?

Hi there I recently joined this site because of all the wonderful content it contains. In regards to the NCLEX:
1. I had 75 very random questions
2. The study materials I used were the Saunders CD because you can pick and choose what topic and the content area this was the only CD that I used that also had priority and delegation questions which is what they have been testing a lot on. I also used the ERI pre-rn online question site and I reviewed the Kaplan book and took the questions. There are numerous sites online that offer free questions for the NCLEX if you don't want to buy anything.
3. Our SON offered the Hesi which I took twice
4. It was 48 hrs today and I couldn't stand it so i went to the pearson's website and paid for my unofficial results (which said I had passed).
5. Thought coming out of the test: it was the worst test I had ever taken... it was the most random stuff and how was that going to prove what kind if a nurse I was going to be.
6. This was my first attempt... I couldn't have done it without God's help!
Hang in there if you haven't taken it yet! YOU CAN DO IT! :)
