For those of us who have already taken boards, please answer a few questions that might help ease the minds of those who are still waiting to test or for results. I know reading as much as possible about other people's experience helped me feel a little bit better while I waited.

1. I only had 75 questions.
2. Our school had a mandatory test review by ERI that we had to attend in order to graduate. I don't think this helped me at all.... all I did was sit and pass notes with my friends because the people who put it on were SSSOOO boring! Other than that, I did all the questions in the Saunder's book the way that Suzanne tells us to do them.
3. At our school, we do one or two ERI tests at the end of each quarter. We also do the HESI exit exam during our senior year.
4. I took my test this past Wednesday and finished it around 0930. I just got my results today at about 1000, so I waited about 48 hours and 30 minutes for my quick, unofficial results from Pearson. My nursing license number is still not on my board of nursing's website though
5. I didn't feel like I had totally bombed it, but I wasn't sure that I passed either. I had a lot of questions that to me had two answers that were the best, which I guess is how it's supposed to be, and I had a hard time figuring out which was the best, but I guess I did it!
6. This was my first and only time taking it!
1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? I had 75 questions.
2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? I admit, I was bad. I didn't really study except for read the Kaplan book. I think I did maybe 200 or so questions in total.
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? We took the ATI
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? I waited exactly 48 hours to find out I passed.
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? I never get nervous taking tests but I almost threw up when the computer shut off after 75 questions. I had only been at the test for about an hour and felt I wanted/needed more time!!! I was a nervous wreck because of all the labor/delivery prioritizing questions I got (at least 10 of them and it's my WORST area of nursing!).
6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? Yes!
