Polk State Spring 2020

Hey everyone, I'm starting this thread for Polk State College Spring 2020 hopefuls. Right now, my total score is 111.15. I'm retaking my TEAS Wednesday (right now my TEAS score is 76) and I'm retaking Algebra summer II for a higher grade. We shall see how it goes...

Good news everyone!!

I emailed Dr. H and she said they are not planning to delay due to the hurricane and letters should be sent around September 15th!!

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if you are excepted before the letters? Does anything show up on your transcripts?

i remember reading these forums before i applied back when i was first considering nursing and now i totally understand what everyone was talking about ?

I was looking at the spring 2019 forum and the applications closed on Sept 15th, 2018 and some people got there acceptance on September 21st, 2018, so literally a week after applications closed. Of course with the school closure, it wont happen for us. But I do think they will send them out sometimes next week. At least I'm hoping.

Anyone else get the status change to "nursing applicants-future" since last posted? Mine hasn't. I'm so curious why that's there...

I was also thinking it may have something to do with if you’re a new student to Polk or first time applicant. Like if you have applied before or if you were already a student at Polk it wouldn’t say that...?? Lol that’s just me over here brainstorming

I applied last term as well and didn't make the cut (as an alternate either). I am taking an online class with Polk now (the nutrition class), but have never taken classes with Polk before.
