Polk State Spring 2020

Hey everyone, I'm starting this thread for Polk State College Spring 2020 hopefuls. Right now, my total score is 111.15. I'm retaking my TEAS Wednesday (right now my TEAS score is 76) and I'm retaking Algebra summer II for a higher grade. We shall see how it goes...

Hey everyone,

I looked in passport and under interactive degree audit, where special designators is, it shows passing teas scores and nursing applicants-future. The passing tea scores wording has been on there for a couple days for me but the nursing applicants-future words just showed up last night. Does it show nursing applicants-future for any of you yet? My friend is applying to but it hasn't shown under hers yet. It just shows passing Teas scores for her under the special designators.

Yes mine says this as well. Interesting that hers doesnt, maybe she should double check everything just to be sure she didnt miss anything important when applying. How long ago did she apply?

youre right though, it wasnt there for me until today.

I wonder what that means, “nursing applicants-future”??

Mine doesn't say it. Maybe if you have really high points where they're confident you'll get in they add it. I'm at a 113, so probably on the fence. Spring term last year the cut off was around 111, then the alternate list. This waiting sucks. My luck the hurricane puts everything out longer from hearing decisions.

youre right though, it wasnt there for me until today.

We both submitted our applications last thursday and both got our applications approved this past monday morning on etrieve. I have more points than her but from what I've read on previous forums about the special designation, all the people that had it, got into the program. But I could be wrong but like I said, that popped up on my interactive degree audit last night, so hopefully it is a good sign.

You may be right about it. I think I have around 123 points. But it also could be by last name where they are going down the line or something else. My last name starts with E. But guys don’t get down on yourselves or worried! I have a feeling we are all going to get in either right off the bat or from the alternate list. Those of you with lower points applied previously so it shows that you really want this. I’m sending all the positive vibes to everyone.

I used to worry myself sick back when I was applying to PA school I even doubted myself so much to not turn in the secondary applications for most schools! But you will end up where you are meant to be no matter what, one way or another ? trust me on that.

Do you guys know how long it takes for Polk State to receive TEAS scores that were sent electronically, to reflect on the Pass Port student account? I sent my TEAS scores in two days ago, and I haven't seen the scores on my student account yet, I also confirmed with Polk State, and they said they haven't received it yet either.

I'm not sure how long it takes, and I know they were sent, considering the fact that I got a confirmation e-mail from ATI letting me know, that they were sent to Polk. I'm getting a little nervous since, I know the application deadline is on August 31, and I can't submit the nursing application unless my TEAS score is reflected on my account.

Seabass, I'd definitely try to get it worked out today. They'll be closed over the weekend, so they definitely won't be working on it. It would have to be on file by tomorrow. I'd pay for them to be sent again if it were me and then keep in touch with Polk.

I believe I had mine sent on a Thursday night and they weren’t in my passport until the following Monday and I was also emailing them about it.

You will I’ll receive an email from ATI that says your transcript was received by Polk state as well.
