  1. Embrace YJ, did you find someone to switch?? I know another girl wanting to get rid of a Sat clinical!!
  2. Clinical schedules are posted. I got Sat. Anyone wanna trade. I'll have to miss my daughter's travel ball games this entire semester and my hubby to watch the two year old instead of a day she's in daycare. ??? @WHH
  3. Anyone know how far down the alternate list they've gotten?
  4. Add me please From what my sister said, 5 dropped out during the semester. She believes a total of 16 failed. Not sure how many submitted their intent by the due date last week. Good luck everyone, hope you all get in!! I didn't get in for fall semester for my first time applying.
  5. I believe that you can access that when they give you access to the courses in Canvas. I may be misspeaking though.
  6. Yes, I believed they asked that everyone to do the LRH orientation. I completed mine.
  7. My sister said she knows at least 6 didn't pass due to not scoring high enough on the final (test grades have to average 79 no matter what your other grades are). They have 48 hours to submit Ms. Jones a letter of intent to retake in January. I would assume that means by Monday they'll know how many more slots are available for alternates.
  8. You can wear any scrubs to class, even prints. Clinicals are the red tops (with logo) and black bottoms.
  9. They're a mess.... every year (fall semester) they end up giving extensions because they don't have things processed in time. Last semester, my sister's loan showed on her loan page (whoever funded it), but it still hadn't hit in her PS account. Ridiculous. Either today or tomorrow the nursing class is having a test. I know there were several students that had to make a specific number on the test to even be considered "passing" to take the final next week. I believe the final is on Wednesday.
  10. My sister has nothing but problems with financial aid every semester. This last term, after calling financial aid many times, she had to email the head of the college and copy several people in the email before they finally processed her loans. Last August, she called 30 times before she emailed the same people because they were so late processing her loans. The only issue me or either of my sisters have ever had with PSC is their financial aid office!! Thank God I am paying myself because I cannot deal with them!!
  11. Does anyone have the uniform requirements they can upload a picture of for me?? I left my folder at work and I'm off today. I wanted to go get my scrubs and shoes.
  12. I know several students that are on the fence of passing this semester. Basically, their grade on their final is going to determine if they have to retake the semester or not. So, unfortunately, it'll be the last week of fall classes before some alternates get calls for spots.
  13. Niragi94, I'm not sure how to assist. It it were me, I'd just finish the requirements today. I'm sure if it's an issue they'll let you know. Everything on my CastleBranch is completed!! Now to work on uniforms, patches, shoes, stethoscope, books, and paying for classes!! Ahhhh....
  14. I would check with the state requirements. If it's an issue, maybe you could move (if necessary) to a state that you may still become certified. Best of luck!!
  15. For lab, I printed out images with blanks to fill in to name the part. I printed multiples of these and did several every day. That was the easiest for me for lab. For lecture, it was more difficult, but I made flash cards for the terms. I attached images of my lab sheets so you can see an example of what I'm referring to. Best of luck!!
