Hey everyone, I'm starting this thread for Polk State College Spring 2020 hopefuls. Right now, my total score is 111.15. I'm retaking my TEAS Wednesday (right now my TEAS score is 76) and I'm retaking Algebra summer II for a higher grade. We shall see how it goes...

Girl, that's good news. Number 2 on alternate list is pretty much guaranteed a spot from what I've seen her in the past. Congrats!

I just got my acceptance letter into the program. I am very excited to meet you all!!!! Congrats to who got in or on the alternate list!!!! and good luck to everyone else that are waiting to hear back still.

I also received my acceptance! Such a surreal feeling after the many failed paths I took that lead me here. Can’t wait to meet all of you. We’re going to kick *** in nursing school ?

Hey! So I've been lurking here, I guess. I didn't get into Fall '19 but just got my letter of acceptance as an alternate for Spring. Does anyone know my chances of getting it as #17? ?

My sister got in for the fall term. I believe she said they got to about number 10 just at orientation (then more after that). I know some applied last term to both the generic track and the transition track. I would assume some of those were who got accepted into the transition track and took it instead (shorter time). This term, there is no transition class offered. I would assume the number is less the spring term, but that's a guess.

I was so sure I’d get my letter today, but nope. It sucks because, I work until 7pm tomorrow and Thursday; if it decides to even come either of those days..

Everyone that got theirs, where do you live if you don’t mind me asking?

I went and dropped off my letter of intent earlier today on campus. I am going to have to get use to that drive now.
