Pinoy nclex takers

Hi there! I'm from the Philippines and migrated here in the US short after graduation and passing the local boards. I failed my first nclex-rn exam and I'm currently reviewing to take it again soon. I wish to hear from our fellow "kababayans" who share the same experience with me. My prayers for success to all of us who are preparing for the nclex! Good luck! :):):)

I took mine last December 28, it's been 2 weeks now. and I heard that If you are in Cali and you passed the exam, you will receive the mail within a week.

i took the boards too in california. well, just wait or you better call the board of nursing so that you will know if your letter has been mailed. maybe you can expect it this week..

yes, it's up to them how long will they mail ur results...so wen will u take the exams again/?

not sure when, I need to wait for another 45days before re-applying to take the exam. I might take it in march or april.

I know that feeling, just continue reviewing and stick with your study plan. That's what i need, It's hard to study while working =(. And don't forget to ask for God's help. =)

what's ur work now?

i don't have a job right now, been here in the US just last May 2010 and they want me o focus on the exam, but maybe it's not my time yet that's why im on my 2nd try this time

actually, if you received you letter, you can reapply at once but you can take the test 45 days from the date of your last exam.. i already mailed mine heheheheh

in my case, i havent waited for that long, as soon as ive received my mail saying that i failed, i immediately reapplied to the state board and less than a month they responded and said i am eligible again to take the test...then registered in Pearsonvue, not more than 30min i already received my ATT

No you can not sit your exam earlier than set by the BON/BRN

it depends on the BON, they're the one who sets one's exam may it be less than or more than 45 days
