I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
I am a PHSC Alumni for LPN class of 2008. I have completed the pre-reqs and co-reqs with an overall 3.4GPA. I scored proficient in TEAS. I applied for the Jan. 2015 bridge program at Porter Campus (its the only campus accepting for bridge to begin in Jan), only 12 students are accepted. They said we will know by 10/15... anyone else applying for this?
I got my letter confirming my applications but they sent it to my old out of county mailing address. I changed residency to Pasco and it reflects that on my drivers license but but my LPN license and address I registered for school is my Hillsborough county parent's address. Will I still get the residency bonus since it specifically says they go off the scanned drivers license?
As long as your drivers license proves Pasco County residency, you will receive the extra points! Did you put your current Pasco County address on the applications you turned in as well?

You can change your mailing address in WISE. As WithValor said, they go off your license for residency.

Yep, both applications I filled out my information with my Land O' Lakes address.

Hello everyone! I really wish I would have found this a long time ago!! I applied for the RN program and I have a 4.0 gpa, a 76.7 TEAS score and I am a Pasco resident. I am hoping to get into the Porter campus.

I have a friend who applied on the last day for the Porter Campus and she is still waiting for her letter as well.
