I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Pasco Hernando State College 2015 Spring Nursing Students
I was talking to a current nursing student today. He said you can get any white scrub pants that you want; however, the top had to be bought at the school. The RN program uses white tops with the black and gold striped sleeves and the other programs use the green and gold striped sleeves. I have found out from my sister-in-law that pretty much all white nursing pants are see through to some extent, so that should be interesting.
The current nursing student did mention that they are becoming more lenient on the shoes as well but it falls with who your instructor is. I saw a first year student at Oak Hill last Friday and he was wearing white mesh style sneakers. The program book says nursing style or all white leather walking style.

Got my letter! Now at least I know my application was good. Let's hope we know my mid October vs. November!
