I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Just found out about this site, I've applied for the RN and LPN for the spring semester. I got a 76.7 on my teas and I have a 3.8 preq gpa. I've had my paperwork turned in since August so the wait seems like forever! The sooner the better.
The North Campus, Brooksville, admits 36 students to their fall day program yearly.
The West Campus admits 36 students into the fall afternoon/evening program. Students attend classes Monday through Thursday from 3–10 p.m. and are either on campus or at clinicals every other weekend during the day.
The Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch admits 24 students into the spring afternoon/evening program. Students attend classes Monday through Thursday from 3–10 p.m. and are either on campus or at clinicals every other weekend during the day. I
The application says Porter Campus only unless I heard wrong and they are admitting for West as well. If that's the case then; including the 12 transition seats, that would be 72 total open slots.
It's officially October and I've started my mailbox!!!
I have to admit that I went to the mailbox today hoping to see something. I opened it and saw three letters from PHSC, my heart skipped a beat and then I realized that they were for my wife, son, and myself. lol
I've been told mid October by 2 ladies in the office and my letter stated mid October as well. I know in the past letters have been received as early as October 17th.
I think truly it could happen at any time starting now until first week of November depending on the amount of applicant's they received.
