I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Hi everyone! I am applying for both the RN and LPN program. I tested really bad on my teas, I thought I had more time and found out the day before and took the test on 2 hours of sleep. Needless to say it was a bad idea lol. I know the RN goes by prereqs GPA and Teas, the LPN program goes by yours cum gpa and Teas score. With that being said my prereq is 3.2 and my cum is 3.71 and I only received a 67% on teas.
I am taking the last of my coreqs and a couple of extras. I am taking 5 classes, a mom of 4, and I am either working or volunteering at my church 6 nights a week. I hope that will keep my mind busy so I don't drive myself nuts. I pray I can at least get into the LPN and do the bridge program. Good luck everyone!!!
Welcome BusyMama4! You've been added to the list and I hope you make it Mandie, so far you're the only one I see that I've had a previous class with. I wouldn't worry to much though, because you're in the range of people who get accepted.
Ha!!! I thought it was you, especially since you knew my name lol! One of my old study partners!!! The only class I really was able to form a study group lol. I think I need to find one for A&P 2, I have a B but want to make sure I get an A.
LOL im in the same A&P 2 class but i go mon and wed at 930 for lecture and monday lab at 11am. I got a 98 on the first lecture exam but feel very unsure of this lab exam we just had.
