PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Published

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Thanks!

campus noh? you're at the top of this list, if you don't get in none of us will lol relax

I made a slip up. My TEAS was a 68.9. I would prefer the West Campus but I would take Porter if forced.

Oh and thanks for this thread everyone and a special thanks to Meltominoire for letting me know about

I put in an app for bridge as well. Maybe we will get lucky since nobody seemed to even realize they were taking apps and we will both get in. :)

Risky did you retake teas? and what campus do you want?

Retook it and got a 75 on it so I just used my first score to apply. I really want to go to the west campus because it's so nice and beautiful out there. Also, all the staff are super friendly.

Updated, Risky if you get accepted to transition and RN generic what will you pick?

You might open up a RN seat  and you'll be like the only one to ever do that probably and make someones life lol. Looks like the long wait of a month begins -.-

Don't you have to be an LPN first to do the bridge program?

That would be great if there was not as many applicants.

Yes, I've been a LPN for years now. I have a potential job hookup at TGH that will eventually require an RN so I need to get into a program asap. If I get in both I'll definitely take transition since that's what I wanted in the first place, plus it's faster than the generic ADN. I'm not getting my hopes up though on getting in either though. I already see having to go to Galen.
