I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
I received my letter that the application was received and the letter said by the beginning of November we should hear something. I am wondering if they are saying that so they don't get a million phone calls.
The letter informs you that all the information you submitted was submitted correctly. The letter goes on to say they meet in mid October and should have all letters to everyone by November. Which means we could get letters from October 15-nov 1, last springs thread they got their letters about October 17th. No year is the same, but expect letters between the stated dates above. If you haven't got a letter yet I would say they have been busy with applications, I got my letter in about 5 days and I applied about two weeks ago. They could also have a mix up on address if you have moved maybe? dunno
I applied for the RN program on the 11th and didn't get a letter. I also applied for both LPN programs on the 12th and didn't receive one either. Does anyone know how many seats are usually available for both Porter and West Campus [for the LPN program]?
Evening everyone, I applied for the RN program for the spring enrollment. My GPA is 4.0 and I scored 68.9
on the TEAS. I am a Hernando resident as well. Good luck to everyone! I have been a nervous wreck and my wife says that I should relax, but I will stay stressed until we all find out.

The lady at the office told me I should hear back mid October!
I also got my letter saying everything is in and good a couple days after applying.
Im applying for LPN so I dont know if it is any different for RN.
