Phoenix With Ogp

Published

are there any nurses working or about to move to phoenix with ogrady peyton and if so are there jobs where you work because we really want to move there but ogp say theres not a demand.i am moving with my husband and 2 kids and we feel phoenix is the place for us,but ogp seem to have other ideas

i agree with that i wish we had tried to go it alone but when we started we didnt know that much about it and ogp made it sound so easy to do it with them, but i just wish i had found this site then

but surely this delay is not their fault but the fault of vermont? or am i reading it wrong? im not saying that you arnt right but it has been suggested by others that ogp have our I140 already but have no jobs to send us to, which would delay the next part of the process,do you think this is a possiblity?

its strange that someone whos business depends on us being there would delay us for any reason

one thing that does concern me is that ogp already have my visa fees in the form of a bankers draft, if i was to tell them to stuff it, what would happen to that? can i get it back or cancel it through my bank?

all i know is im sick and tired of all of this bullpoop, its really getting on my nerves and if one more person says to me 'have you heard anything about the usa?' im liable to commit a crime :angryfire :angryfire

Sorry, but I deal with immigration issues on a daily basis and the garbage that this agency is giving you is getting deeper. The paperwork has not changed, they screwed up, simple as that, w and they do not want to admit it. Nothing new at all is being required.

And they should not be hiring if they do not have a job to send you to. That is a requirment of immigration.

Oh no! I entered into communication with them two years ago and didn't like them then so didn't tie myself into them.

My wife and I have had enough of our company and have put the pressure on over the last few months - I am keeping records of all the work I've done to sort my registration and immigration to AZ that the company didn't do and I had to chase up to make sure it happened (i.e. NMC, CGFNS as they lost both our files, AZ BoN, VisaScreen). They've also got lots of our paperwork wrong and I actually went outside my AZ BoN licensing application period and had to re-apply as the company told me that I had to sit my NCLEX by the end of April when my BoN application period ended at the beginning of April!

Apart from that, everything's fine.

It really would have been easier, quicker and a lot more straightforward if we'd done everything ourselves.

Cheers

OG

Hate to ask, but which agency are you with?

Remember that in the US, a contract is a two way street, the company that you entered into a contract with needs to live up to their part of the agreement. If it is taking this long, they are not living up to it, I definitely suggest giving them an ultimatum as to when you expect things to be done, and if not, cancel the contract with them, and make sure that you inform the US Embassy inthe UK, as well as the British consulate over here.

All of you are coming to the US with green cards, and they way that you are being treated is totally shameful. These agencies have no right at all to treat someone like this, and let alone with the amount of money that they are making from you working.

Hi,

I have to say that myself and the girls over here all came over very quickly with OGP I took my NCLEX last end jan and was here dec 1st and the other girls who are here now have similar stories. Our I140 was filed by end of jan last year, it took less than 6 weeks.

They have been useless since I got here and I am not happy.

Way to go Suzanne! :yelclap:

I've been dying to make a similar comment, but didn't feel qualified to do so :uhoh3:

i was wondering Kay, didnt you take out the insurance that OGP offer against injury or was it too expensive?

Claire, I think the reason Kay is unhappy is more to do with the lack of support from them, when she needed them the most. Don't wanna go into too much detail, that's for Kay to disclose, but suffice to say one of their primary concerns was that she was unable to get right back to work :angryfire

I understand that she is rightly upset with them as we all appear to be at the moment!, just wondered about the insurance as i am supposed to be moving to the usa i wondered if it was worth it?

I suppose their primary concern was that she wasnt earning them any money:rolleyes:

You got it :angryfire

I'm not sure about the insurance cover when you're with an agency. I get insurance benefits with my job, another reason why direct hire is best if you can go that route.

I did but somehow it appears that the forms got lost. If you read earlier post I advise you to take out insurance.
