I am not a traveler, but a staff nurse in phoenix For 18 years. HUGE DEMAND!!!! your travel company is not being honest for whatever reason. You might specify Phoenix AREA (ie.. Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Sun City & Sun CITY West).

This is not a regular travel company per se, that you are used to seeing.

It hires International RNs and gets them a green card, and they are under a two year contract with the agency. They are also a regular travel company division as well. But this thread is about nurses from the UK that are using them.

And they only place nurses where they have contracts.

Hello Im heading to England. If you have any tips about nursing in the UK please advise aboout the application process. I know I have to write the Ielts test.

Thank you

yes but ogp have contracts in phoenix they would just rather you went to more lucrative states for them

They don't always have that many there...........of course, they want to send you to where they will make more money............:angryfire

They forget sometimes to take into account where the nurse wishes to work. And that is the most important part of the equation. All of you are coming over on green cards and deserve to be treated as such.

You should be telling them where you wish to work, and they they should be looking for something to meet your requirements. Not the other way around.

suzanne is right!!!

i dont know why we dont all stick together on this one, they need us as much as we need them and there are plenty of us on here who are having the same problem, i for one, am telling them where i want, im not going to live in some poo hole for them, thats for sure, :angryfire

they wont care where i am at the end of the day as long as i earn them money, with that in mind i will be talking to them about my placement, when (if ) my flipping i140 arrives.

you go girl:bow:

I'm one of the lucky one's who got to go exactly were I want, there again I was doing everything myself at the time, and it was DH and DD who insisted we go to Arizona and Phoenix in particular. So that was passed onto OGP before I joined.

well, when i joined ogp they told me that they could probably place me in fl as they have nurses there on contracts

i think if they cant send you to places on their website that they should remove them as surely thats false advertising? both st Joes and 2 hospitals in fl are on there which i think is wrong.

Have the same problem, though they told me only short contracts are available in FL.

I spokje to OGP last week re: I-140 again told it would be a couple of weeks:stone then I would have it, like you and others we know I have been waiting since last May for it, the funny thing is don't actually know what happens when I get the I-140:rotfl:

Most of you know about Kay's car accident a week ago, her husband phoned the agency from the Emergency Room at 9 pm on a Wednesday night, their 24 hour emergency number that supposedly always has someone available, well they got back to them at 11 am the next day, never asked how Kay was, but when would she be back to work. That was their only concern................
