Well, I am finished with the pre-reqs, as of December. Have taken the TEAS once but will take it again. I have met with a few advisors and one prof in the nursing dept on East. I cannot get any clear and concise information really and it's frustrating. My GPA is relatively low, comparatively (sp?) and I am trying to guage my actual chances of getting into the program. I am only applying to PHCC (either campus) and the not knowing is killing me.
So where is everyone else? I am ready to get my stuff turned in. And then the wait.
Mailman came and went today I was almost mad then I remembered my other PHCC mail goes to my PO Box (which I rarely check). Went today and there were three envelopes from PHCC. Including my Acceptance letter for the RN program. I was so happy I cried! Now to get my response to the records office does anyone know what their summer hours are? I have my CPR and Stethoscope now for the rest. OMG I can't believe this is real.
DEVASTATED...got my letter of rejection this afternoon after having a 3.77 and 88.8 with a 4.0 in all coreqs. Pasco resident, Phi Theta Kappa, previous B.A., and President's List don't matter a bit. NOT EVEN AN ALTERNATE!! Gonna really think about this for a while...

I would most definitely contact the school first thing on Monday. Your scores were better than mine and I was chosen as an alternative?! Don't give up!! You should be very proud of your scores. If you don't get in this fall, you are golden for the spring when they accept more applicants. Good luck!
If I find out in September I'm in HCC's January class...I will not accept anything for the Spring from PHCC. HCC has a much higher budget, is nationally ranked, and works with much better clinical sites and staff. I will call Monday, but am counting on getting a run around and being told it's confidential and they don't keep that information available. I'll be ok...just doesn't make sense and is a little upsetting.

Hey, hey, hey, now. We all understand you are upset about not getting in, as are others like myself. BUt there is no need to go discounting and putting down PHCC's perfectly good program just to boost your self-esteem. Keep it on the up and up, and be nice.
