Well, I am finished with the pre-reqs, as of December. Have taken the TEAS once but will take it again. I have met with a few advisors and one prof in the nursing dept on East. I cannot get any clear and concise information really and it's frustrating. My GPA is relatively low, comparatively (sp?) and I am trying to guage my actual chances of getting into the program. I am only applying to PHCC (either campus) and the not knowing is killing me.
So where is everyone else? I am ready to get my stuff turned in. And then the wait.
Hey :)
I have seen a few less than 4.0 gpas, and the lowest teas was 85.9. This is only what has been posted by those who've received letters. I will be so glad when the overanalysis can end, lol. Of course, I am good at over-analyzing, so I will just find a new obsession...
I can't recall, do you have the residency?
EDIT:
Lowest gpa seen so far is 3.77 and lowest teas is 83.5 so far. This is an accepted combo. :) (and yes, this person may have kicked butt in reading or math or science or english which could have pushed him/her over--we just don't know, but I will still keep analyzing...lol)

Christina started a new thread for those who have received their acceptances :) Thread linked above!
Jenn (hoping I get to post on the above thread soon...)
It reads, "The Health Programs Admissions Committee has selected you as an alternate for he Associate in Science degree program in Nursing, Generic track for the August 2010 term. As an alternate, this means should a vacancy become available for the August 2010 term, you will be contacted as soon as possible to fill the vacated position...."
In previous years, I wonder what the chances are of getting in as an alternate? Interesting! After working so hard to get in, I don't think people turn it down, what do you think?
It's VERY possible...LIFE HAPPENS. People get preggo, employed, unemployed, and move away. You also gotta take into account that most people have probably applied to more than one program. So, that means some of the accepted people may be accepting elsewhere such as HCC, SPC, or USF. Keep you hopes up as I am. In fact, to this point, you're better off than I am because I haven't even received a letter!! This is not good for my anxiety and OCD.
I wish you the very best! I hope you do get in:) Like me, I'm sure you just want to move on and get this ball rolling already! I just want to be a nurse!!!! If I do not get called, I will re-take the TEAS and take A&P2 and Micro in fall and re-apply to PHCC and apply at HCC. Hopefully, I get a call saying they need me to fill a spot:)

Hi Jenn!
I applied with a 4.0 gpa and an 83 teas score. It looks like they're taking those who have a 4.0 and teas at 83.5 and over perhaps? :)
