Petition for RN's in support of EC Graduates!!!

If you have worked with an EC/regents graduate please sign this petition in support of our right to work in the state of Georgia. Why should we do more clinical hours? Nursing students that complete a nursing program in Georgia is 400 hrs. I have more clinical hours than that by a long shot. I am not willing to do more clinical hours, but I will put my clinical experiences and skills against any 400 hour nurse extern.

Signed the petition. I work in Texas with a great nurse that passed her CPNE in Mar. and boards in May. She has more skills than many of the traditional grads. She is one of the reasons I decided to go this route. Good luck to all of you ! Traci

CONSIDER IT SIGNED. This is the following comment made

"I am an LPN with a DNS who is an Excelisor graduate. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this DNS and think that your state will be sorry to exclude such single minded individuals as those who have graduated from excelsior. With the nursing shortage, can your citizens afford your narrow minded discrimination?"

Excelsior grads are just as professional and perhaps more so because of the amount of effort it takes to graduate. I guess discrimination comes in all forms.

I just did to all of the yahoo excelsior groups I belong to. Hope it helps. I only saw that there were just 70 signatures so far.
