So, Marjorie Taylor is nothing but a troll, I don't think she believes a single dag on crazy thing she says, she just knows that if she acts worse than trump that the republican party will help ascent to power. What disturbs me about this article is that Pelosi feels that there is threat within congress and plots to kill certain members. Every day I understand these republican trumpists less and less, they say they want "healing", no they want war and anarchy like it's the wild wild west.

Bet you didn't know I have a Jewish laser gun in space that is incredibly accurate re targeting brain cells and scrambling them, except I think it might malfunction for some people because it only acts up sometimes, especially when I target MTG. It keeps saying it can't find any brain cells and that she must be an alien. I think it's a software glitch because you would be surprised at how many republicans it says that about. Cruz is a weasel, Rubio has *** on his nose, McConnell only eats lettuce, McCarthy is a sock puppet, Lauren Bobbert is anoxic or has lead poisoning or food poisoning or some poisoning and Lindsay Graham's actually is a woman called Linda ????

So, you are there listening to such preachers?
The Republicans have pandered to conservative Christians for quite some time and Trump bought into the propaganda during his reign.
And yes I have actually been to many churches in my area and the message tends to be similar, threats of hell, damnation, and the end of days to keep the flock nice and obedient. My experience is hardly unique, do some research on the bible belt, culture in the south, etc. if you are skeptical.

Fair enough and I'll give you that. I do think however, when we are spineless and silent about such wrong doings, then you risk yourself being grouped with those types.
A few yeas ago I floated once and was minding my business charting. A nurse that wanted to play a joke on a coworker that apparently no one really liked put some Miralax into his water and I sat there and saw it but minded my own business. When he found out and told management, I got called in along with those that did it and got verbally reprimanded by the VP of Nursing. This was fair and I decided then and there to not be silent about such things, because by being silent I condone it.
Speaking of Christians and preachers, there's some interesting articles in the New York Times about "Christian Nationalists" that seem to be getting louder, especially under Trump. It certainly isn't fair to brand all Christians as to thinking like them but it is interesting and this being America we can't silence them, but I do hope they stay outnumbered.
It's pretty easy to not get lumped in with conspiracy believing, lie spreading insurrectionists in Congress...Cheney managed it in the House and Romney managed it in the Senate. It would appear that members of the GOP are more afraid of being considered an outsider of that angry but poorly informed group.

It's hard not to believe that they actually support and believe in those ideas. Especially when they are lead by McConnell who put on a good talk after the Capitol takeover but now is going back into his usual mode of silence and support.

Certainly there are many Christians that are more new testament Jesus and love versus old testament God and wrath, and I know sometimes I generalize when it comes to religion which isn't right, it's an issue I'm trying to work on. But these these "christian nationalists" have this bizarre belief that they are oppressed in this country and that there is a "war" against Christianity, and that Christians must be "soldiers of God" it's just deranged and such a dark place to take their beliefs. If there is a God, I doubt he looks over this world without feeling shame for how some Christians treat others in his name.

Three strikes. Your sources indicate most Christians lean Republican. That is far different then "most who follow people like Trump and Marjorie are Christian."

Currently republicans and trump supporters are the same thing except for like 5 congressmen that said crap about him the other day in the news.

Yes, Republicans are spineless in many situations. This being one.
