Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed. Nursing Students NCLEX Article

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Do you try to re-register after you log in or do you try to re-register from the home page without logging in? :banghead:

Hi, BSNBadAzz, I took the test on Aug 1, my pop-up shown same thing as everyone else has received from the first day till now. But after 4 days, my name not shown on CA BON also. I also heard most people get their name on the website in 3-4days. Hope we can get ours next morning. BTW how Qs and how long you took the test?

I stopped counting around 140, i was so agitated and anxious and it didn't help that the air conditioner wasn't working at the test center. I had to take a ALOT of breaks just to keep from passing out, it was so hot. it took me about 4 hours and 30 mins. i had anywhere from 150-165 questions. i checked the CA BON website again today and its still not on there. gonna wait until 8am to call since the BON will be off tomorrow. im still getting the same pop-up as everyone else but its just crushing to not see my name posted yet and this trick is the only thing keeping me going.

hi 2bNurse4life4ever i got ur message but i cant respond coz i havent done 15 posts yet. :p i received the pop-up as well after it saying test results on hold for 4 days. 2 days ago it FINALLY changed to the one everyone else received (contact member board etc) i hope i passed but im not going to celebrate until i see my name on the CA BON website or have the actual license in my hand. i rushed my 1st test too. this time i read saunders 4th ed front to back and im glad i did coz i took kaplan and read their book but it was just so brief. i needed something more in depth. saunders' CD with the questions were similar to the ones i had on the exam just re-worded differently. so if u cant do kaplan - saunders, i found, was pretty close to the caliber of questions i received.

1st time around i got around 91 questions and it took me an hour and a half. there were SOOOO many meds i was just not familiar with. 2nd time around i got 150-160 questions. i stopped counting around 140 and was there for easily another 30-45 mins. i had to take a lot of breaks because the test centers A/C was out. the sign that read: "sorry for any inconvenience this may cause" was the understatement of the day. i didnt know about this trick the 1st time i took the test. i did try it after my test on 7/31 and have since received the pop-up ... all im doing now is waiting for official results.

I swear this HAS to be true! I went on to do the trick yesterday about 5 or 6 hrs after I took my boards, and I got the "contact the board" pop-up, tried it again at around 10:30pm got the pop-up again, yes I was obsessed, this morning at 9am found out I passes from BON website with my RN license number! So...I'm going to vouch for it and say yes its true!

Pearson Vue trick worked for me. Immediately after the test, i tried it and it would not let me pay. My status on pearson vue said "ready for delivery." then later it changed to "successfull delivery." I just got my results 30 minutes ago, i'm an RN woohoo!

Oh and I had 195 questions-who gets 195 questions? I thought I failed! Congrtas to all!

It is 5 days from the test already. I check pop-up qid. I still get it each time. I checked BON also, I am not there. The PVT is the only antianxiety for me. I am going to crazy about this. Please tell me what did the BON say. X you finger.

thank you so much for letting me know how u studied... im pretty sure that you passed.. this trick is a 100% and i also heard that it works for everyone in cali as well...so u are fine..!!! good luck!!!!!! im praying for you!!! i know how it feels to re take an exam.....and it is not pretty :crying2: ... im starting to read up on content...i think ive done enough questions.. i like seeing success stories from ppl who have taken the test for the SECOND time.. because i can relate to them...most ppl pass the first time... but i cant relate to them..therefore when i read ur post about how u took ur exam the second time.. i jumped to give u a reply.. i really wanted to see what u did.. i got scared because the ncsbn site says that for repeat testers theres only a 50% chance of passing, compared to first time testers which is 85% historically (and for 2009 it is 90% up to date) , ..therefore i was having panic attacks seeing that only half the ppl pass for the second time.. i know i shouldnt get all caught up into numbers..but i was intentionally looking up the stats because i thought maybe 90-100% ppl were passing the second time.. but i was wrong.. therefore ive been a nervous wreck.. and success stories like urs are the only ones that keep my sanity going..!!!

Tried calling CA BON several times throughout the morning. I get the same phone message saying they are experiencing a large volume of calls (gee I wonder why). So haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. Will keep trying. Took my exam 7/31 In CA and 6 days later no name on BON. I'm not an international student. it's hard to look my parents in the face because I'm pretty sure my moms preparing for the worst news. This pop up is all I have because just my luck ... The CA BON is taking forever for my results anyway.

I finally got so frustrated that i ended up calling the BON and asking them for verification. I PASSED!! Apparently my license number didn't show up on the bon's verification page (or on the automated line) because they used my DL # instead of my SSN. I would advise you to call the automated line and try your DL # (who would remember what number you used when registering for NCLEX several months ago anyways???!) and see if that works... if not, call the BON directly and ask to speak to someone. I freaked out (and I mean FREAKED OUT!) all day yesterday and it all ended up being because they used a different number to identify me than I had expected!

To those of you who are wondering if it works: from what I can tell it does, and logically the trick makes sense... no point in paying again if you passed. Unfortunately, I know of noone to disprove this, but I'm sure there are people out there. My guess is that PV knows about this "trick" and has corrected it in some way, shape, or form. But from what I can tell it works... but then again, 85% of the people who take the NCLEX pass the first time...we could just be a very large part of that 85%!!! Good luck to all that are still waiting to take it and congrats to those who have passed!!

Have faith, and keep praying, you should be fine... this is a GOOD SIGN!! this pop is stopping u from paying, becauseeeeeeeeeee u have PASSED the exam!!!! i cant wait to hear ur success story.... :yeah::yeah::yeah:
