Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I just found out that I PASSED exactly 48 hours after I completed the test. I am on cloud 9 I cannot believe that I did it. That was the hardest test of my life. The "trick" did work for me, and it helped ease my anxiety as I waited for the results over the weekend!

WHat state are you in? I'm in NJ and praying that the trick works. I have one whole more day of wondering if this works for everyone. it has only been 24 hours since i took the exam. failed before so praying that this time was it.

I know that this has probably been answered somewhere... but please tell me what this means.

I took my test an hour ago and this is the message I get

"DELIVERY SUCCESSFUL"

"The candidate currently has results on hold. A new registration cannot be made."

This kinda worried me now. Some tester have done this i think..the trick to reregister again to pearsonvue. If it lets you register and pay again that means you FAILED and if stop you from paying that means you PASSED. Why do you have to wait so long for your test results? I live in Florida, and I tested here at a pearson vue testing center. I was able to pay 10.00 and get my results in 48hours.

Congrats!!! i hope i get the same good news. it just seems silly relying on this trick. i have 24 more hours of waiting!!

hi everyone!!

I am new to this forum.

I took my NCLEX examination yesterday at 2pm (August 5th) and was sure I failed. I had about 135 questions ....maybe more or less because I was not paying much attention to the number where I was at. After the 75th question, I was hoping it would shut me off; when I got to number 76, I started panicking thinking I was doing horribly!

However the computer did shut me off in the 130 to maybe 150 range max.

I did the pearson trick and the screen popped up to let me know to "contact my boards...."

I just want to know how accurate this is...only because I took the test yesterday....

Please let me know. I am having so much anxiety.

the test was extremely hard and I do believe I missed on some EASY questions because I was over analyzing it.

Hi Ell......I'm not sure if the 'trick' works or not...took the nclex 8-5-09....went to the pearsonvue site @ 10pm to re schedule and it wouldn't let me because my results aren't in yet. My test shut off at 75 and I said NOOO!...I didn't feel i got enough right. Had many many SATA and no math. So I assumed I failed because I got so mamy SATA. anyway tried the personvue site again (about 50 X's) today with the same msg. results not in. Then I went to Indiana SBN and guess what? There was was name, Registered Nurse, License#,Active!!! I am stunned. I thrilled and so very happy. Waiting for results is torture as u all know. My advice don't ust count on pearsonvue (I know it has worked for others) but also do not forget about your states SBN. I received my results (official) in less that 24hrs from the state. Good luck to all of u waiting and wating and waiting. 75 question 265 it doesn't matter. keep checking. I am praying for u all.

Well I took my NCLEX-PN on Tuesday & could swear that I failed, I told a lot of people that I probably failed, and I even studied the night after I took the test because I was pretty sure I'd have to take it again! After I found this thread, I tried to reschedule the test on the Pearsonvue website and it wouldn't work for me, I got the popup.....so I started to have some confidence that maybe I passed, but I didn't want to get my hopes too high. I just paid for my quickresults online and it is a PASSSS!!! I am soo happy, this trick totally HAS to work. Good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear their results!!

I dont know if i should be giving any advice yet because i dont know my official recults. i have 19 more hours to go, lol. its sad that im keeping track. but here i go. i took 4 full weeks to study. i mean 3-4 hours in the morning and then tried to squueze a 75 quest test at night. i used the saunders book for nclex with pictures. ill give u the exact name later and i used that as my outline. i wrote a plan of all the topics and i just followed it like i would of as studies in school. i tried to do 2-3 days in a topic. ex cardiac, resp, gi, gu, peds, ob, med anbd so on. i separated the meds on index cards. by me writing it down i think it helped . as i took test for each subject. i wroye in a notebook the rationale of what i got wrong. my first time around, to be honest, i did not study. i dont even think i did a full exam online. hope this helps you and im praying what u said its true.

i tried going to the bon of nj but system is not updated . it says the results are only as far as july 9th.
