CONGRATULATIONS TO MY BEST FRIEND WHO GAVE ME THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT MY RN VERIFICATION. she took her test this morning in CA at 8am and she tried the pearson vue trick and she has received the infamous pop-up. congrats. this "trick" works!!!

ok sign me up. i can say that the trick has WORKED for me. summary: 7/31 took the test in CA, 4 days later got the pop-up (contact your member board) after the pop-up saying my test results were on hold. 6 EXCRUTIATING days later .... my best friend (whose taking her exam today) woke me up at 5am today to tell me ... my name is on the CA BON website. I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE MY NAME ON THAT BOARD but its up there and i PASSED. the only thing that kept me going was prayer and this pearsone vue trick. thanks so much for all the support and advice from this thread. good luck to all those waiting .... its torture but well worth the wait. GOD IS GOOD!!!

thanks for posting this. i do not like how long it seems to be taking the ca bon to push verifications through when i know some people have received there's in as little to 3-4 days. the waiting game sucks. but thanks so much for posting this. its giving me lots of hope.

thanks so much. unfortunately, CA does not participate in quick results and the only way we can verify licensure is through the CA BON website which lists your license or the actual mailed in results. i will post my results when i get them and keep trying to contact the CA BON. thanks for the support!

Tried calling CA BON several times throughout the morning. I get the same phone message saying they are experiencing a large volume of calls (gee I wonder why). So haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. Will keep trying. Took my exam 7/31 In CA and 6 days later no name on BON. I'm not an international student. it's hard to look my parents in the face because I'm pretty sure my moms preparing for the worst news. This pop up is all I have because just my luck ... The CA BON is taking forever for my results anyway.

hi 2bNurse4life4ever i got ur message but i cant respond coz i havent done 15 posts yet. i received the pop-up as well after it saying test results on hold for 4 days. 2 days ago it FINALLY changed to the one everyone else received (contact member board etc) i hope i passed but im not going to celebrate until i see my name on the CA BON website or have the actual license in my hand. i rushed my 1st test too. this time i read saunders 4th ed front to back and im glad i did coz i took kaplan and read their book but it was just so brief. i needed something more in depth. saunders' CD with the questions were similar to the ones i had on the exam just re-worded differently. so if u cant do kaplan - saunders, i found, was pretty close to the caliber of questions i received. 1st time around i got around 91 questions and it took me an hour and a half. there were SOOOO many meds i was just not familiar with. 2nd time around i got 150-160 questions. i stopped counting around 140 and was there for easily another 30-45 mins. i had to take a lot of breaks because the test centers A/C was out. the sign that read: "sorry for any inconvenience this may cause" was the understatement of the day. i didnt know about this trick the 1st time i took the test. i did try it after my test on 7/31 and have since received the pop-up ... all im doing now is waiting for official results.

I stopped counting around 140, i was so agitated and anxious and it didn't help that the air conditioner wasn't working at the test center. I had to take a ALOT of breaks just to keep from passing out, it was so hot. it took me about 4 hours and 30 mins. i had anywhere from 150-165 questions. i checked the CA BON website again today and its still not on there. gonna wait until 8am to call since the BON will be off tomorrow. im still getting the same pop-up as everyone else but its just crushing to not see my name posted yet and this trick is the only thing keeping me going.

AWWWWW i love you BFF :redpinkhe. i checked for my name on the CA BON website and it's STILL not there. =( GRRRRRR. it really is driving me crazy because i do know that for MOST ppl it took 3-4 days - even counting the weekend!!! uh, just my freaking luck that it's going to take forever. no point in calling on the CA BON on friday because they'll be closed. after 4 days of my pop-up saying my test results were on hold it finally changed yesterday to the one that everyone else has received. i failed NCLEX the first time and every time i check for my name on that website and dont see it reminds me ALL OVER again about the 1st time. then again, when I took nclex the first time i didn't know about this trick. soooo ... the wait continues but im hoping with this pop-up ... i'll be hearing good news SOOOOOOOOON.

Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time. GOD IS GOOD!!!! PLEASE SEND GOOD THOUGHTS MY WAY PEOPLE. DO NOT freak out when you get the pop-up message: "test results on hold" it WILL later change to what i have above which is the same message that everyone else received. I've waited sooooo long for this ... SOOOO LONG and almost gave up because I had to take it a SECOND time. im shaking. i felt like a failure. but im telling you ... REALLY have faith and if you think you don't have enough ... your friends and family will get you through it ... SERIOUSLY. I WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW HOW I DO WITH "OFFICIAL" results. =)

hey thanks so much for replying to my post. you know what's really weird? i went in to test and the whole 2nd floor of the office bldg i was to take the test in had signs that said that the air conditioner would be shut down that day due to a leak found the night before. bottom line: we took the test with no air conditioning. it may not sound like a big deal but let me tell you, it was a HOT day and to be stuck in a SMALL enclosed room with computers generating heat and 20+ hot bodies ... it gets even HOTTER - i was literally sweating and the anxiety didn't help either. i spoke to the proctor of the exam and he said the CA BRN was notified in case this would play a factor in the outcome for the test takers. it's something i kept in mind. could you keep me posted if your pop-up eventually changes or if you get ur results? i'll be sure to do the same. I'm HOPING that even though our pop-ups say "test results on hold" (with the activity status saying delivery successful) ... we will eventually get good news. I've been asking everyone to pray for me because it's really all i have left. i'll keep you in mind as well. =) GOOD LUCK!!!

i took my nclex rn in ca on friday 7/31 and my pop-up is the same "test results on hold" message even after my status says delivery successful. was wondering if your message eventually changed to the "contact board member"? mine doesnt not look like it's changing and has been about 4 days now. did u get your results? im just really anxious because i too am a 2nd time around test taker and just found out about this trick. any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

Usually when you get that pop-up ... it's a very good sign. The trend is that the majority of ppl that received that message ended up with a result of "pass". Although, nothing is final until your actual OFFICIAL results. Regardless of the reliability of the trick, a lot of posters have said that the pearson trick is the only thing keeping them sane during the wait. So hopefully good news is on its way.

Log onto your Pearson account like you did to register for your exam. Make sure under activity that your status says Delivery Successful (If it doesn't say Delivery Successful wait to try the trick until it does). Click on "Register" as if you were going to register for a test again. Select the test type you took then it should bring you to the survey page asking if you've taken the exam before, what boards youre applying for, etc. Fill everything out and press "Next" and that's when you're supposed to receive a pop-up message stopping you from paying/registering. Some pop-ups vary from telling you that you're unable to register due to a previously scheduled exam, test results on hold, or to contact your Board member. I personally have been getting the "test results on hold" message. Hope it helps and Good Luck

I took my NCLEX RN in CA on friday 7/31 at 2pm. I tried the pearson vue trick around 5pm when my status said: Delivery Successful. When I tried to re-register the pop-up I received was different than what some have reported. My pop-up said: The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time. I know previous posts said they received the same message as mine and then a few days later changed to a different message telling them to contact their Board. It's been three days since I took my test and I still get the "test results on hold" message. My pop-up isn't changing to anything different. I was wondering if anyone got the test results on hold message and still found out they didn't pass or if they received this message and then a few days later were brought to the credit card screen? What's also killing me is that I checked the CA BRN website this morning (8/3) at 12:30am to search for my name - it wasn't on there but the website stated their last update was on 7/31. The CA BRN states they update their website M-F. Well I checked again for my name this morning at 6am and although my name still isn't posted, it now states their last update was on 7/2 ... a Sunday. Hmmmm. Any advice would be appreciated.
