Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

U passed! my husband was in the car waiting for me, he didn't even hug me or kiss me when he saw me coming out of there. he checked the pearson vue trick right away, the good pop-up showed up, as it did for the hundredth time that day and until it showed up on the board!! congratulations, now it's time to look for a job:)
I just got back from taking my NCLEX RN. I live maybe 10 min from the testing center, so not more than 30 min have passed since I finished my exam. I tried the Pearson VUE trick and got the "our records indicate..." pop up. Does that mean what I think it means? I got tons of SATA and felt like I guessed half way through the exam. Also had 2 pictures to identify what it is (wound and ECG). I'm really nervous!!
Merged with existing thread on PVT
Took my exam yesterday at 12:30. It only took me 30 minutes and 75 questions. I tried the PV trick and got the message that my results were on hold (Sigh, I understand this happens when you go to fast, lol). This morning, at 10:00 am, I got the "good" popup! Woo Hoo. I start my new job on Monday and I am so relieved to have this step out of the way!!

I did roughly 100 questions a day from the Saunders CD, starting May 1 through May 20. I looked at the rationale for every question, whether I had it wrong or right! I had my final May 14. I took a review course offered through my school, which started on May 21. These teachers gave us tons of questions, so I focused on the questions they gave us and the tricks they taught us. I did not do any questions after Friday, June 1, went away, visited family, had fun and didn't think about it.
I won't say it was easy or hard...it was just "different". None of the questions I had were similar to any other I had ever done, but I just picked what I thought was the best one, tried to rule out the definite "no's" to each question. I looked at the SATAs as individual true/false replies, and I think that must have helped.
Good luck!

Yes, it's still the "good" pop up and "delivery successful". I'm still nervous, can't wait until it's official. I'll post when it shows up on the BON site!
