I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
I have been researching the PVT trick a lot since I took the exam on 1/27/17. I haven't heard of anyone who has gotten the good pop up and it hasn't charged your credit card that has failed. It is definitely a positive sign. I should get my unofficial results today sometime this afternoon. I will update my status. Good luck to you!!
Hello, I took my NCLEX yesterday 1/28/17 at 2:00pm and it stopped at 79 after about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was freaking out because I was unsure if I got the last question right. I did the PVT trick twice and got the "good pop up" I live in Texas and will be able to see quick results tomorrow afternoon. I will let you guys know how it goes.
congratulations ap2149 I'm sure you deserve passing for all the hard work you put into it. Hopeful RN 17, if you've been getting the good pop up, then 99.99% you passed. I've read tons of articles and forum already and 100% of the people that tried the PVT trick and got a good pop up passed. That alone should put you into ease my results are on hold, so it could either be pass or fail, I'm hoping by tomorrow they'll lift the hold status into a good one. I'll update as well.
I got the good pop up 5 hours after the test and 24 hours after. I'm just waiting for my unofficial results to become available:rolleyes: I just want to officially claim I'm an RN ...taking forever lol guess I'll check back at 5pm I'll keep myself occupied.
@ Ms Petite 93, hang in there, i'm sure you pass I can definitely relate to you. I keep checking for mine as well, but I have a feeling I might have to wait tomorrow or tuesday because of the hold which is killing me....
yes the PVT trick still works. I took my RN Nclex 1/25, I did the trick at 8 hrs, and after 25hrs on 1/27 I paid for my quick results and found out I passed nclex at 75 ?s even though I walked out of there feeling like I failed lol.
