I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
Once you get on the website, the middle tab says "look up license." click the "look up license" button and enter in your info and your license number should pop up along with your name if you passed. you have to wait until the following night for it to show up if its there. I took the nclex yesterday morning and my license number didn't show up until this evening around 7:30.
Thank you :) I took my test yesterday morning on the 25th like you did and tried the PVT trick as well and got the "good pop up". I just checked Nursy website and nothing showed up for me. Now I'm nervous.. lol... Just curious... what state did u test in?

I'm in TN. Not sure if the state you tested in has something to do with it not showing up but there's a possibility it does. If you got the good pop up I wouldn't worry about it too much, sounds like you passed!
I took the nclex on the 21st and the good pop up worked for me. I didn't see my name come up on that website and I looked it up everyday. On the 25th It was posted on the site. The pop up worked for me and I am in Pa. Best to you.
Just got my unofficial results and I passed. The PVT trick worked for me. However, still nothing on the Nursy website. Maybe, it depends on your state. Good luck to everyone frantically waiting for there results. It's a sick feeling... LOL... Hang in there.. and if you don't pass... no worries... you can take it again
Hello all! I took the NCLEX-RN today at 8am, the test shut off at 75 questions and I am SURE I failed. I feel as though the questions that I was getting were not 'passing level' and just a general horrendous need to throw up when I left. I took about an hour to get done with the test (I am a quick test taker), not a ton of SATA (maybe 1/4-1/3) and just what seemed to be general knowledge and comprehension questions. I tried the PVT tonight around 6pm with a used visa gift card and got a 'good' pop-up (aka: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."). Since its Friday I do not anticipate quick results being available till Tuesday (But one can hope!) Praying that I did pass, as I have a job lined up to start early February, but hope is a dirty four letter word and am not getting my hopes up. I will update once I know more!

If you got the good pop-up then you most likely passed! Good job. Maybe they were just lower level passing questions. But still passing, kwim? CONGRATS!
I wish I could save you the headache of searching online for hours and hours trying to find "hope". Because if your like me and everyone else who takes the NCLEX, no matter what you hear... you still will worry and have doubts. Trust the PVT pop up, and try to get some rest. It looks like you passed í ½í¸Š I too had 75 questions, and felt like I only answered 2 questions correct... "Seriously" 2 questions... I was positive I bombed because getting 75 questions means you either did really really good or really really bad... and there was no way in my mind I did really really good... lol!! So I had to of bombed it... well I passed!!! I would maybe try the PVT again in 24 hours... just for piece of mind... then take a deep breath... I've researched this PVT thing for hours on proably 100 threads and hear nothing but positives... that leads me to believe that if you get the good pop up... you passed í ½í¸Š So Congrats!!
