I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
I took NCLEX RN yesterday 1/27/17, I had 228 questions, so many select all that apply! It took me 5 hours to test. I did the PVT trick and got the good pop up 3 hours later. It wouldn't process my credit card. It looks like I passed based on everyone elses posts about the PVT trick working. I just want to see the word Passed !,hopefully I will get early results tomorrow. So nervous!
I took my NCLEX on 8am 1/26/2017 and finished at0935. I had 76 questions, less than20 STAT. I tried the trick at 0945 1245 1645 2045 and 0900 next day. All good pop up. Just got my unofficial results that I PASS!!!!!The trick did work on me!! Good luck to you all!!!
The PVT does work!! I took my Nclex RN for the 2nd time on January 24, 2017 and my license number was posted on the BON January 25. This was my 2nd attempt at the nclex. After the 1st time I took it, I tried the PVT and got the bad pop up saying my credit card was declined. This time I tried it and good pop up saying our records indicate......I was so nervous so I kept checking to make sure I still got the good pop up, which I did. I'm so glad I passed on my 2nd attempt, it was such a huge relief and awesome feeling!! Good luck to all you future RN's!!!
I just took my NCLEX-RN today and the computer shut off at 75. Tried the PVT and it just tells me the expiration date is wrong. Pretty sure I just bombed it.
I got this same message when I failed the 1st time. I tried it again and the other message I got was credit card declined. I hope this is not the case for you. Good luck!!

what does it mean? Did i fail or pass? I'm so sick worried and can't function very well. The wait feels like the longest wait in my life. Thank you guys

Hey it doesn't mean if you failed or passed. It just means you either finished early like 30-40 min or something else may be holding back the results that they have to review. Try again after another 24 hours to see if they lifted the hold. I'm anxiously waiting to pay for my quick results Tomm as my state participates in that.
I took the test on friday jan 27th also. The wait feels terrible! While researching the pearson vue trick, I have heard of several people that passed after receiving that message. that you received. Keep the faith!
thank you Ms Petite 93 and ap2149 :) I really appreciate your feedback. Ms Petite 93, good luck and I'm hoping you pass. My computer stopped at 75 questions and it took me 2 hours to finish it. I also took 2 bathroom breaks because I chugged down a starbucks refresher drink before I arrived at the testing center . I was so nervous and sometimes and I feel like I spaced out a few times after reading some questions over and over again. This is my second time taking the exam and I took a different approach this time and decided to take Hurst review and practice some Uworld questions. I definitely felt more confident answering some of the test questions because of all the content that I studied than the first time I took it and obviously failed. I had some SATA questions and some of them are back to back. I had some drag and drop, 1 calculations and a lot of priority questions. I'm just really hoping and praying that the message will change into a good pop up. I don't feel like myself and been stressing out and been obsessing if I pass or not. Reading this forum actually the only thing that calms me down because I know I am not alone and a lot of people are experiencing the same thing I am experiencing. I'll update probably this Monday to see if my message will change into a good one or if I become an official RN :)
I took the NCLEX-RN on Friday the 27th and have been freaking out since then! Delaware doesn't participate in the quick results option but I've tried the Pearson vue trick quite a few times and it will not accept my card. I put in all of the correct information because I figured I'll have to pay again anyway if I failed. I'm really hoping that it's a good sign that I got the "good pop up" but I'm still so nervous!! Waiting is the worst!!
