I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
I tested today as well. Shut off in 75 with 22 SATA, felt pretty confident leaving and then panic kicked in. I've been debating gambling the $200. Just did it and got the "good" pop up. Hope its reliable! I've been a mess of emotions
I took the NCLEX 1/24, I wasn't going to but I ended up doing the Pearson vue trick because I got impatient. (I had to google how to do it) and I got the good pop up. This morning I check the state board website and I passed! The trick worked for me :)
And huge congratulations to all that just passsed! Huge accomplishment!
Took the NCLEX this morning and decided to try the PVT. I tried it twice around 1 pm and then 5 pm and got the "good pop up" both times. It relieved some stress but waiting till Friday to get the quick results.
I took my nclex pn on 1/17/17 tried the trick on the 20th nd got the good pop up ...tried again on the 22nd nd still got the good pop up! However CA doesn't participate in quick results! So we have to wait weeks! Has Anyone from California taken their nclex pn nd got their letter already?i tried breeze nd under applicant activity it just says change my name ... request a verification letter... nd something about a interim license...so worried.

You didn't complete the trick. It told me I initially put in the wrong expiration as well so I made the exp date close to the real one and then clicked submit and got the good pop up. Until you actually hit the submit button, you haven't done the trick.
