Hey all!
I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
I PASSED! PVT still works! You can also go on to nursys.com and it can tell you if you passed before the quick results do.
This website gets all of its information from the individual state boards of nursing. They don't know anything your own BON doesn't know, so you'd do better to just look up your license on your own BON website, cut out the middle-man.
I took the nclex today, shut off at 75 questions. Had less than 10 SATA ... the test seemed too easy! .. I figured I failed .. however, did the PVT twice already and I got the good pop up. Hopefully it works for me like it worked for you guys. We shall see tomorrow! Congrats to everyone that has passed

I know now that waiting is so hard but you should definitely feel good about getting the good pop up!! I got 75 questions too and found out today I passed I'm sure you did too! Good luck!
I took my NCLEX AGAIN today.. I answered I THINK 88 questions and it shut off. My last question was a SATA but I feel pretty confident that I got it correct. I tried the PVT at 1 hour, 3 hours, and 6 hours after the completion of my exam and I got the "good pop up". I am worried though. I have tried the PVT one time before after 1 hour and got the "good pop up" and then ended up getting the "bad pop up" and my CC charged a few hours after that. I am hoping that since I have checked a few times now it is good, but I am super anxious. I had SO MANY SATA... my first TWO questions were SATA! I had no math, which I thought was odd... but I did have 2 that I had to "list in order".
I took NCLEX-RN today (in Wisconsin) at 2pm and finished at 3:30. It cut off at 75 questions and I had 22 SATA. I tried the pvt about an hour later and got the good pop up. I haven't tried since but I do keep checking the application status on OLAS to see if the NCLEX requirement changes to "MET". I guess I will check again in the morning if I can stand it. I received emails on status changes and my ATT in the middle of the night so I know some processing still occurs during the night which unfortunately means I won't sleep, lol! I have seen some folks on here say they had results the next day so I'm hoping that I get results tomorrow too.

I tested today (01/30) in PA at 8am. Computer shut off after 75 questions--took me just under one hour. Came home and did the PVT about an hour and a half after testing and got the good pop up. Hopefully if I truly passed, my license will be on the BON website tomorrow. Thanks for all of the advice everyone! Cheers!
