  1. Hahah sorry guys, I was bouncing between two different groups and totally got them swapped! My apologies!
  2. This post is really about the pvt trick. If you go to the beginning, people have been commenting about their study tactics. Also, there are two alternate threads running labeled 'February test takers' that I would recommend you follow and ask questions there for more help.
  3. Florida. Just paid for my quick results even though I'll get them tomorrow.. I couldn't handle the anxiety any longer! I passed! Hope you did too!
  4. I swore I'd failed and the good pop up gave me only a sliver of hope... Paid for my quick results and I passed!! Omg the relief!
  5. I tested the 27th in the afternoon and the wait is just killing me. Everyone in my program got results in two days so I'm hoping I still get answers even on the weekend. I walked in feeling so prepared and walked out feeling defeated.
  6. I am so used to going to the gym before work but I cant wrap my head around going at 5am and then being on my feet for the next 12 hours. I will have to build up the stamina for that I think :-P. Nuts are a great suggestion.. as long as I dont eat them all in the first hour!! :)
  7. My gym doesnt have classes so cardio will be spinning or running on the dreadmill. I prefer weight lifting but I have to do cardio lol. My biggest worry is that I get snacky/nibbly at work and I feel like a bottomless pit when I dont really need to be consuming all those calories.
  8. Hello allnurses family, I am about to start my 6 week internship and will be following my preceptor's schedule. I graduate in December and thought this would be a great time to get a fitness routine going. Let me start by saying that I am traditionally a successful gym rate and pretty good healthy eater, but nursing school has thrown off my rhythm for awhile now. I was wondering if anyone has a 6 week jump start or program they had success with considering our long shifts and sore feet :) I have a gym membership and am not looking to buy any products or subscriptions. I do track my food (usually) but I would like to make the 4 days I have off as effective as possible. I am mostly looking to lose ten pounds or so and keep my cardio in a good place. Thanks in advance!
  9. Whoever is interested in talking about a roommate situation, please email me at [email protected]
  10. Are you still looking for a roommate?
  11. Hey guys, I'm in the spring `16 absn class and I'm hoping you can tell me if I have to buy K-Swiss shoes or can I just wear all white tennis shoes? Thanks!
  12. Probably. I already live around here but I need cheap and quiet. So the more focused roomies, the better!
  13. If you go into Student Central, you will see the list of classes you will be taking each semester in your academic plan. Your classes will be chosen for you each semester and you will be placed in labs by the dept. As for registering for lectures, there is only one section of each one, so when the seats open up, you will be able to add them :) Hope this helps.
  14. Congrats on everyone who got in! I did as well, but will be passing on TCC as I got into the ABSN at FSU! I hope that you alternates get my spot and good luck!!
