Pearson Vue Trick NCLEX RN 2017 265 Questions Wisconsin

Published

Hey all!

I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!

I put in wrong expiration date and shows good pop up. There's no need to gamble your $200. Anyway, thanks!

I only mention this because submitting a card with an incorrect expiration date sometimes results in a "card declined" message NOT because the person failed but because the card itself was invalid, and the registration "test" of the card showed that. People who get "card declined" are certain they failed and sometimes that's not the case, the card was bad.

In your case, you passed, so congrats again! :-)

hello! still getting good pop-up, but my name still not on BON, anybody had a good pop-up then failed? pls. help me. thanks

Yes, but it's been a long time since I've seen anyone that has happened to. Not seeing your name on your BON website only means (if you passed) that they haven't updated the site. Some update daily, others once a week. Does your state participate in Quick Results? If so, pay the $8 fee to find out if you passed. Otherwise, sit tight, and good luck!

Thank you for your feedback, means a lot, took the test 2/28 and still waiting for the result in CA

California is insanely slow, I'm sorry you must be dying to find out! If it's any consolation think of the nurses who took the test with paper and pencil over the course of two days while seated in a football stadium, and didn't get the results for two months. And if they failed, the test was only offered twice a year. Maybe it makes it easier to wait now lol!

I fail my first test on Jan. 11, 2017 ! I had all 205 questions... did the pvt and it declined my payment. 🤦🏽*♀️ Result came in the mail and I failed. I retook the exam on March 16, 2017 and after an hour and fourty-five and 85 questions, I got the good pop up when trying to reregister 🤗 I'm still worried though and waiting on my official result to come in the mail ! I'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

Im in CA. I took my exam on march 1st and got my result on march 9th.

Sharing from over here in Arizona. My 1st attempt at the RN NCLEX was on 2/1; I met a gal that day in the waiting area who told me about the PVT. She stated to attempt to reregister ONCE I received the email from Pearson that the test was completed. My test stopped at 150+ questions and from the time I walked from the building to my car, I received the email from Pearson that I had completed the NCLEX. At that time, right in the parking lot, I tried the PVT with an incorrect exp date and CVC; I got that "bad pop up" requesting I correct the credit card details. 24 hours later, confirmation was on the state board license verification that I had failed the NCLEX exam. Fast forward to today, after completing the 45 days you have to wait to retest, I took the NCLEX a 2nd time and this round, I ended in 87 questions. Again I walked to my car, tried PVT and it requested the correct credit card info ONLY this time I had not received the email that NCLEX was completed. It took 2 more hours to receive that email and I tried PVT again and FINALLY got the "good pop up" with the red triangle indicating "our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Soooo here I sit and wait for the next 18 hours to check the state board site again and will update to confirm if PVT works here in AZ.

Pearson Vue is a national testing center, and the registration software doesn't vary by state. Whether the trick gave you the correct answer is a crapshoot but it doesn't matter whether it's California or Arizona or anywhere else.

By the way, the email thing is irrelevant. The trick is a game and if you're lucky it won't let you pay the $200 if you pass. Most of the time it looks pretty good in that if you get the message that your card is declined you can be pretty sure you failed, the problem only really seems to come in when you put in anything less than 100% correct information from your credit card. In those cases, Card Declined doesn't always mean fail, it means the registration program knows you didn't give it valid information because it tested the card. Usually it's not even tested if you passed but you have to be willing to take the risk because sometimes it does. Personally, I'd let it all go and get your mind off it for now, go do something FUN!

Keeping good wishes going for you that you passed this time! :)

Congrats I'm going through the same 205q plus bad pop up ... did the cpr they sent help

I took my test on March 21st in CA, shut off at 75 and took about 3hrs to finish. I was a mess after because I honestly did not know how I did, and like so many before me, felt like I failed. This post helped keep me sane these past 2 days. I tried the trick an hour after I took the test, but it wasn't after a few hours that the good pop up showed up. I obsessively checked it every few hours or so making sure it wasn't a fluke (a few times taking the risk of putting my credit card info as is). I didn't celebrate though because it's not official until the BON issues a license number.

Anyway, I found out today that I passed :) so the trick did work for me. Good luck to everyone out there!

I completed NCLEX-RN 3/28/2017 started at about 12pm, finished in about 2hrs. 75 questions, at least 30 SATA. At some point I felt my questions were too simple, for a significant amount of questions. After answering question 74 I contemplated requesting a bathroom break, I didn't want my exam to end at 75! I thought for sure I bombed it!!! I received email confirmation from Pearson that I finished my exam as soon as I got to my car and attempted the PVT less than an hour later. I only changed the expiration date when I entered my card info and got the good pop up! I must have done the PVT at least 50times into the following day 3/29 with same results. At about 1pm I checked on the BON website. I PASSED!!!

PVT IS STILL ALIVE 03/28/2017, in Arizona
