Hey all!
I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
I don't understand why you would try the trick day and night, if you are doing the game to make yourself feel better that much I understand but it is NOT making you feel better, you're like an addict constantly checking to see if your lottery numbers have changed! They haven't changed. The game is played. Checking over and over is a complete waste of time. Get away from the screen and go do something that WILL make you feel better like volunteering somewhere, shopping with a friend, playing with the dog, organizing your closets.
Doing the PVT over and over is about the biggest useless time suck that I can think of, it doesn't make you feel better so let it go!
I took the exam today and am getting the good pop up all day. Is it accurate on a Saturday?? Anyone else take it Saturday and get the good pop up and failed monday?
It's accurate! I took my NCLEX on the first of march and got good pop up everyday. Got my letter in the mail 8 days later and passed!
I took my nclex rn last saturday march 11 and computer shut at 75Q. Went out of pearson vue office feeling hopeless thinking i failed. Today 10am i tried the PV trick with an old home depot debit card with $0 balance on it. Website says cant register because their record shows i recently schedulled nclex exam. Been thinking this must be the good pop up everyone's talking about. So since DST just resumed yesterday i had to wait another 1 hour to check my quick results at exactly 12pm today got my unofficial nclex result and passed! So pvt trick still works. Waiting for my official result from the mail.
