I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
So I took my NCLEX-PN yesterday @1pm in California. Ran through an entire spectrum of emotions after the computer shut off at the 85th question. The test was HARD! I had studied so much and I was seeing medications etc that I never even heard of! I was feeling like a hot mess lol. I've checked about 4 times now, from 4-5 hours post test, 12 hours, 20 hours hahaha each time with the good pop up?
I just took the NCLEX - PN this morning at 8am and finished about 1030am, and it stopped me between 110 - 120. I'm not really sure about it, last time I saw it was 109 then after a few question it stopped. Right when I got home, I waited about over an hour til I got the email notification saying that I have completed the examination. I tried the trick and it was a good pop up, I then tried it again after 4 hours and its still a good pop up. Is the PVT trick really that accurate? Please help me, I don't want to get my hopes up. I just want to make sure. I'm from CA and I usually I won't get the result about a week or 2 weeks if passed, if failed about 1 month. Thanks!
Hi everyone! After my exam this morning they were unable to scan one of my palms on the way out of the exam. They lady said she would do something by hand to confirm my identity. I was not going to do the PVT because I am so nervous and I thought my results would be "on hold". However, I just decided to do the PVT and I got the good popup. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am just second guessing it because of the hand print issue. I did the PVT almost 9 hours after.
I'm here with the mentality that I did not pass. I took the exam last friday and been doing the trick since then. I got the "bad pop-up* consistently..[ Payment was declined. ] I'm accepting the fact that I failed and everything.. but still hoping that theres something wrong with the system or the results are just delayed. After hours of reading testimonies about how accurate the trick is.. I can now absorb that I did not pass. I even checked my board for licence verification and my status was still PENDING. All hope is gone.
I started up strong.. getting SATA and long questions but started to doubt myself in the middle.. I even prayed before clicking the next button of question 75.. "Please don't shut down.. give me more questions"... It did not..
I ended up going to 80 questions.. then here comes the parade of SATA and analysis questions.. I think it shut off around question 95+.. I was devastated.. the previous 5 questions consisted of 3 SATA and 2 analysis questions.. I was not confident of my answers.. specially SATA.. I failed my first attempt and did really.. really.. really... study for this second one.. but I guess it's not for me yet.
I will just wanna start working now... Anyone got tips on what I should do? I'm so down right now.. I just wanna lay down and sleep for days Y_Y..

change the expiration date and cvc?
when i took my nclex pn 5 years ago.. i did it right away and got the good pop up.
