Sharing from over here in Arizona. My 1st attempt at the RN NCLEX was on 2/1; I met a gal that day in the waiting area who told me about the PVT. She stated to attempt to reregister ONCE I received the email from Pearson that the test was completed. My test stopped at 150+ questions and from the time I walked from the building to my car, I received the email from Pearson that I had completed the NCLEX. At that time, right in the parking lot, I tried the PVT with an incorrect exp date and CVC; I got that "bad pop up" requesting I correct the credit card details. 24 hours later, confirmation was on the state board license verification that I had failed the NCLEX exam. Fast forward to today, after completing the 45 days you have to wait to retest, I took the NCLEX a 2nd time and this round, I ended in 87 questions. Again I walked to my car, tried PVT and it requested the correct credit card info ONLY this time I had not received the email that NCLEX was completed. It took 2 more hours to receive that email and I tried PVT again and FINALLY got the "good pop up" with the red triangle indicating "our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Soooo here I sit and wait for the next 18 hours to check the state board site again and will update to confirm if PVT works here in AZ.

Can someone confirm if the Level one Fingerprint card that you get to be put on the waitlist is the same one that's used to start the program? Or is there new one that is needed? Mine says confirmed on the application page, double checked that the card says Level One and it doesn't expire until 2 years after we're set to graduate....just want to make sure I don't need a new set of prints....

In the event it blocks the website, once you're on GCC, go to the search bar and put in Nursing and the 5th ink down that says Welcome Nursing Student has all the information, #7 is the proposed schdeule for class and clinical for fall 2014 Welcome Nursing Student | Glendale Community College

I know of Scottsdale and the employee partnership but not Banner, I actually thought they had cancelled that one a couple years ago...

wow, GCC has all the 2014 schedules posted for what lab and lecture is like and you are correct…some may be online! Schedule may vary. Part of lecture andlab time may be online as directed byinstructor

Where do you see that at? This is all I could find under "prospective students" on the Nursing dept page 3. Evening: Classes 1-2 days/week evenings and on Fridays and Saturdays during the day

I most certainly will!! It's my understanding the only hybrid is the MCC late start as viewed on the app status page. Any other online courses would be due to CEP but I could be mistaken. I would be more than happy to provide as much info as I can

I got my second choice, Glendale evening…I already accepted placement, faxed the form back and I am so ready to get this thing started!

I've been searching to see if anyone who did get accepted in one of the 3 evening/weekend programs can give an idea of where the date/time stamp was left off....I know the last update on the app page said a dozen or so for Dec 2012 were not placed. Tomorrow is going to be another long day

hang in there, I know you're probably tired of hearing the "it will be worth the wait" statements cause I sure am...no one understands the agony of wanting this so much like your fellow future classmates...I'm just hanging on to my faith that everything will fall into place with the right timing. When everything is all said and done, we will have worked very hard for what we accomplished!

I was one of the 12/2012 and did not get placed. I am absolutely unable to be flexible with any of the traditional programs so I left those off knowing I might not be placed. On the application page today it say about a dozen or so with 12/2012 didn't get placed due to limited choices so my fingers are still crossed that within the next few placement runs some people who were placed in the evening programs will defer and I still have a chance of starting in the Spring. The wait has been difficult to say the least
