Pearson Vue Trick: Is it accurate? Do you know anyone who paid using their CC and passed?

Published

I took my NCLEX yesterday. Went all the way to 265 questions. I had gotten a lot of infection control questions, 30 SATA, a lot of priority qs and delegations. I was exhausted. I tried the PVT online when I got home, I it took me straight to the CC page, went through. I want to pay for the quick results, but it says it is not available yet, I have to wait 48 hours for it to be available. I am devastated. I check my AMEX card but the $200 is still pending. I do not know if I pass. I thought at first I did, since I was getting really high level of questions. But because I did the PVT, and went to the CC page, I lost HOPE. Can anyone tell me, if they know someone, who had gotten charged 200 dollars and passed? I do not mind to pay the 200 dollars, as long as I passed. Super sad here. Been crying all day, and I feel like I am such a failure. :'(

So after you put in your info then it goes to the page saying please hit submit then the pop up shows up if you passed ?

no popup tells you definitively that you passed.

the PVT does NOT confirm pass or fail. It is software glitch/work-around.

but yes, to get any response you have to submit your credit card info.

I just took the NCLEX today and it shut off at 155 i believe. I am too afraid to try the PVT trick, but I have also not seen anyone post that they were shut off at 155 and passed. Words of encouragement please!

You can pass or fail at any number. There is no "magic number" to pass (or fail). Fingers crossed for you!

Hey. All. I took it a few months ago and was skeptical about the trick. But it worked for me. I tried it right after I took the test and again 24 hrs after testing. Both attempts did not let me pay again. Then of course I still paid for the results in 2 days for confirmation.

don't be discouraged, try NCSBN, and u- world and pray to God

I took my test on Feb 2 Tuesday stopped at 75Q and found out today I passed! I did the trick 11hours and 26 hours after. I was told to try the trick by a friend and didn't know anything about the nonrefundable policy. The first time I input my real cc info and had a good popup saying I cannot register at this time. Second time I tried using a expired visa card I also got the same notice. I cannot say if this is truly accurate because I don't know anyone in person that had a bad popup. But after trying both times and getting the same notes, made my feel much better.

I did the trick right after the test, got the good pop up and of course I did it every day until I got my license number!

I used the wrong exp date and the wrong CCV number for good measure. Good luck I hope you all pass!!!

Wrong expiration date will NOT prevent a charge

Congrats to all that have passed... to those who are contemplating the PVT, a classmate took her NCLEX and 24hrs later did the "trick" it charged her $200, sad and depressed we spent all night on her couch while she ate copious amounts of ice cream and tried to comfort her. The NEXT day she got a text from another friend who had checked with the BoN and found her name and RN#.

If she wouldn't have done the PVT, she would have saved herself some worry, and about 5lbs from all the comfort eating.. lol

Believe in yourself!

Hello everyone, I need help. I just took the Nclex RN and failed last December. My problem is I did the PVT trick and it charged me 200. Now, I checked my status in pearson vue and it says I have an open registration. At first I thought, ok atleast i can retake asap, but unfortunately now it is February already and I havent received an ATT. The pearsonvue told me that I dont have any problems in my registration, but I think the PVT messed it up. They told me to wait for BON, but I think i am waiting for nothing. What is the best thing that I can do right now?
