NYP Meet and Greet January 2016
Went to meet and greet in January. Was just emailed for an interview with talent acquisition and a department manager on same day. My online status says under consideration for both the new grad event I went to in January and for staff nurse.

New to Night Shift - How will I survive??
Thank you Ellie and kbrn! My little one is in early grade school and my husband leaves for work very early (before I would return from night shift and before the little one wakes up for school.) Hubby then returns most nights after the little one gets out of after school (5.) I was think about getting a sitter to watch her sleep in the morning and then get her ready and bring her to school. I could pick her up from after school by would need to hire someone to watch her from between when I leave to when the hubby returns. Another concern is just feeling like a zombie even especially with t being hard to sleep on days when the little one is off of school. Have a day offer but for a very tough unit.

Pearson Vue Trick: Is it accurate? Do you know anyone who paid using their CC and passed?
Hey. All. I took it a few months ago and was skeptical about the trick. But it worked for me. I tried it right after I took the test and again 24 hrs after testing. Both attempts did not let me pay again. Then of course I still paid for the results in 2 days for confirmation.

Is neuro that bad?
I'm in NY. Are you working in neuro now? How is it, honestly?

Neuro = dumping ground for "difficult" pts?
Oh man. I am a new grad about to start on a neuro floor. In not sure I can handle all this ^.

Is neuro that bad?
Sounds tough. I am a new grad and received an offer for days on a neuro floor at a stroke center hospital. It sounds overwhelming and I am a little nervous about accepting. I also have an offer for a general surgery floor (at a not so great hospital.) Not quite sure which to take. Will I get stuck in neuro if I hate it? Neuro sounds like a good challenge and rewarding at times but in my mind it's psych+nursing home pts. ...is neuro that bad?
