I took my NCLEX yesterday. Went all the way to 265 questions. I had gotten a lot of infection control questions, 30 SATA, a lot of priority qs and delegations. I was exhausted. I tried the PVT online when I got home, I it took me straight to the CC page, went through. I want to pay for the quick results, but it says it is not available yet, I have to wait 48 hours for it to be available. I am devastated. I check my AMEX card but the $200 is still pending. I do not know if I pass. I thought at first I did, since I was getting really high level of questions. But because I did the PVT, and went to the CC page, I lost HOPE. Can anyone tell me, if they know someone, who had gotten charged 200 dollars and passed? I do not mind to pay the 200 dollars, as long as I passed. Super sad here. Been crying all day, and I feel like I am such a failure. :'(
It changed in August 2014 after a system update that everyone goes to the credit card page to risk $200 to attempt the trick. There is also no "results delivered" so you know the second scoring was complete
To get the most accurate results with the trick so you have to wait til it says results delivered? I just tried it I took my test yesterday at 1pm in Texas and I did the trick this morning and got the good pop up this is my third time testing and the other times were right I just don't want to get to happy about this time

No results delivered no longer exists
Littlemissparis,
I took my Nclex for the first time back in November of 2015. I had all 265 questions as well and when I did the PVT I was scared to submit it because if it did in fact take my $200 i was going to be devastated. So I just waited impatiently for those 48 hours for the quick results and sure enough I failed.
Recently I took the exam again January 26,2016; I had 75 questions this time and about 25 SATA questions I was sure enough I passed this time. I went home and did the PVT and typed in all my credit card info and hit submit and got the "good pop up". And waited again for the quick results and I passed. Not saying it's the best indicator but I would have to agree that it's a glitch in Pearson vue's system and its seems to be pretty accurate.
I wish you all the best either pass or fail! Good luck
This has been fascinating! I don't know anyone who took the NCLEX recently so I don't have stories to share, but it seems to me that if you're asking if a trick is accurate, isn't that an oxymoron? If something is accurate, it isn't a trick, right?
To those who passed, congratulations! To those who failed, better luck next time.
I do know something about credit card charges and expiration dates though LOL because I have put my card number in for an online purchase and screwed up the expiration date (it was one of those dropdown menu things where you choose the month and year). But the order went through and my card did get charged. I didn't care because I wanted what I was ordering but I just want to tell people that you shouldn't rely on not getting charged just because you changed an expiration date. The credit card company can still make the payment and you will owe the money!

Hi everyone. I just want let you all know that the PVT worked for me and my friend. She took her nclex PN and had 85 questions on Tuesday January 26 and I took mines at 2:00 pm on Thursday and got 85 questions also. We both tried the PVT around 6:00 pm and got the "good pop-up" We both used valid credit cards with all correct info. The only difference is I used a card that didn't have 200.00 on it. Regardless it didn't attempt to take the 200.00 from either of us. Yes we were repeaters with the PVT and did it a few more times throughout the night. Here in PA there is no point in waiting 24hrs to try the trick because our license post on the BON site the very next morning at 9am.
