Pearson Vue Trick Feb 2016

Published

I wanted to share this information because just last night I was frantically searching for it myself and couldn't find anything current. The date today is 2/10/16. I took NCLEX yesterday and I know I passed because my name is listed as having an active license from the state. However, the Pearson Vue Trick did not work for me! Even right now, knowing that I passed, it is still letting me register for a new test!

So, if it lets you register please do not rely on this alone! You still may have passed!

I hope this is helpful to someone who is out there thinking they failed because the almighty Pearson Vue Trick didn't work for them!

WOW!! CONGRATS RN! Thank you for the info, I took the test this morning and tried the PVT, got the "bad" pop up.. I was crying and depressed.. but after reading your post, I'm still hoping and praying that I pass..

Thank you!

I know how you feel, I did the same thing last night. There is still hope, good luck!

"...my name is listed as having an active license from the state."

Are you shown as a GN or an RN?

Thank you blongo! I'll find out the result on friday.

Did you get charged/attempted to get charged? Did you attempt the trick prior to 24hrs post test?

Does your state have you as an RN or temp/GN?

Hello!

Please please help! I just took the NCLEX yesterday, and nothing has been posted on Pearsonvue nor with my state. I re-registered and my credit card was charged and I received the order acknowledgement.

Please tell me, did you fully re-register? Did you enter your credit card info and hit submit?

You created a second registration. If your state participated in quick results they will not be available until tomorrow (48 hours post exam). If you attempted to re-register at least 24hrs post exam and the payment was accepted the odds are you failed but it's not guaranteed accurate. The trick is least accurate in the first 24hrs before the results are rescored during quality control

RN, I never got my GN. Thanks for the skepticism though.

Yes it attempted to charge me but I put in the wrong information. I attempted the trick pre and post 24 hours. It has tried to take my payment every time, I never got the "good pop up."

I am 100% sure my state board of nursing has me, at my zip code, listed as having an active RN license as of today (took test yesterday) along with an assigned license number. Only saying this for the people who are going to come on here and tell me I'm wrong.

FYI--I'm in Pennsylvania if you want to try this yourself for results before 24 hours. Just google "PA state board of nursing license verification" I took my test at 2 PM on a Tuesday and my name was listed by Wednesday morning around 11 AM.

I did not actually re-register because I did not put in my real credit card information. I simply wanted to see if it would try and process my fake information which it did multiple times. At the point where you hit submit the good pop up should come up if you passed. At least that is what people say the trick is. I'm saying that it did not work in my case. If you are in the same situation that I was then you still may have passed even though you did not get the good pop up. As I said below I tried this many times before and after the 24 hour mark.

What was the pop up u got when u attempted the fake cc? Did it tell you invalid number and use another card or something like that? I'm that same boat where I did it right after the exam and I had a pop up that said I had an open registration and couldn't register at this time. Then tried it again after 30 mins and it charged my cc. Jus wanting to know what did it say after entering your cc info and hitting send. Thanks!
