  1. Update: my original post was 100% accurate, I did pass that first time and when I saw my license issued on the PA web site that was real and accurate.
  2. In my opinion you absolutely do. It is so helpful to have a group. BUT everyone is different and has different personalities. As some people have already stated they prefer to study alone. I suppose it is a personal preference but I found it to be advantageous.
  3. Good point, I agree with you.
  4. Totally agree with #5. PVT was not accurate in my case!
  5. It is hard but if you study you will be fine. That was the hard part for me because in prior schooling I had always done well without studying much. You have to study and focus in nursing school. You will be fine, good luck!
  6. Congratulations!!
  7. I used a great app on the IPhone called NCLEX RN Mastery. I paid for the full version and practiced questions daily and I think it really helped as a refresher.
  8. If you got the good pop up the odds are in your favor, I'm not disputing the good pop up. All the reading I have done on this seems to have the same conclusion: good pop up is a good sign. I'm arguing if you didn't get a pop up at all or you got the bad pop up. If this were accurate I should have had the good pop up since I know now I passed.
  9. Good luck Chrissygraduatenurse!
  10. Thank you for sharing. This is the exact message I was trying to convey when starting this discussion. Also wanted to post that I did pay for Quick Results and I did pass. Therefore, the PVT did not work for me as I stated. Remember it's only a "trick." I was upset after I didn't get the good pop up for no reason.
  11. Stay positive and good luck to everyone! I know the wait is agonizing!
  12. It can work if you pass but not necessarily if it says you failed! I know I keep saying that but that is the whole point of this thread.
  13. I just graduated from this school. You could always apply and take a risk. BUT, my personal feeling on the topic after finishing the program and meeting other students is that only the highest GPA's are getting in. They get so many applicants and they take the best of the best so I hate to be discouraging but I think that is too low. I know this post is older and you may have made a decision by now but also putting the information out there for others who may be in your situation.
  14. I took it at 27 weeks and I was uncomfortable so I'm thinking no for you.
