  1. Update: my original post was 100% accurate, I did pass that first time and when I saw my license issued on the PA web site that was real and accurate.
  2. In my opinion you absolutely do. It is so helpful to have a group. BUT everyone is different and has different personalities. As some people have already stated they prefer to study alone. I suppose it is a personal preference but I found it to be advantageous.
  3. Good point, I agree with you.
  4. Totally agree with #5. PVT was not accurate in my case!
  5. It is hard but if you study you will be fine. That was the hard part for me because in prior schooling I had always done well without studying much. You have to study and focus in nursing school. You will be fine, good luck!
  6. Congratulations!!
  7. I used a great app on the IPhone called NCLEX RN Mastery. I paid for the full version and practiced questions daily and I think it really helped as a refresher.
  8. If you got the good pop up the odds are in your favor, I'm not disputing the good pop up. All the reading I have done on this seems to have the same conclusion: good pop up is a good sign. I'm arguing if you didn't get a pop up at all or you got the bad pop up. If this were accurate I should have had the good pop up since I know now I passed.
  9. Good luck Chrissygraduatenurse!
  10. Thank you for sharing. This is the exact message I was trying to convey when starting this discussion. Also wanted to post that I did pay for Quick Results and I did pass. Therefore, the PVT did not work for me as I stated. Remember it's only a "trick." I was upset after I didn't get the good pop up for no reason.
  11. Stay positive and good luck to everyone! I know the wait is agonizing!
  12. It can work if you pass but not necessarily if it says you failed! I know I keep saying that but that is the whole point of this thread.
  13. I just graduated from this school. You could always apply and take a risk. BUT, my personal feeling on the topic after finishing the program and meeting other students is that only the highest GPA's are getting in. They get so many applicants and they take the best of the best so I hate to be discouraging but I think that is too low. I know this post is older and you may have made a decision by now but also putting the information out there for others who may be in your situation.
  14. I took it at 27 weeks and I was uncomfortable so I'm thinking no for you.
  15. Says something like you are already registered for this exam
  16. I'm thinking yes. I have read a lot on this topic and the consensus seems to be any sign of the good pop up is good news.
  17. It said something like invalid card, fields have been cleared please reenter. That is very confusing if you first got the good pop up then were able to register. Further proof that the trick is inaccurate and unreliable!
  18. If you get the good pop up you probably passed. BUT, if you didn't get the good pop up that does not mean that you failed. In my case I never got the good pop up, was upset and disappointed, and then found out I passed. Don't be discouraged if you don't get the good pop up, remember this is only a "trick."
  19. I did not actually re-register because I did not put in my real credit card information. I simply wanted to see if it would try and process my fake information which it did multiple times. At the point where you hit submit the good pop up should come up if you passed. At least that is what people say the trick is. I'm saying that it did not work in my case. If you are in the same situation that I was then you still may have passed even though you did not get the good pop up. As I said below I tried this many times before and after the 24 hour mark.
  20. Yes it attempted to charge me but I put in the wrong information. I attempted the trick pre and post 24 hours. It has tried to take my payment every time, I never got the "good pop up." I am 100% sure my state board of nursing has me, at my zip code, listed as having an active RN license as of today (took test yesterday) along with an assigned license number. Only saying this for the people who are going to come on here and tell me I'm wrong. FYI--I'm in Pennsylvania if you want to try this yourself for results before 24 hours. Just google "PA state board of nursing license verification" I took my test at 2 PM on a Tuesday and my name was listed by Wednesday morning around 11 AM.
  21. RN, I never got my GN. Thanks for the skepticism though.
  22. Thank you! I know how you feel, I did the same thing last night. There is still hope, good luck!
  23. My school used ATI. I personally thought my NCLEX (passed first attempt) was easier than my ATI's. I have heard varying opinions on the topic.
  24. I wanted to share this information because just last night I was frantically searching for it myself and couldn't find anything current. The date today is 2/10/16. I took NCLEX yesterday and I know I passed because my name is listed as having an active license from the state. However, the Pearson Vue Trick did not work for me! Even right now, knowing that I passed, it is still letting me register for a new test! So, if it lets you register please do not rely on this alone! You still may have passed! I hope this is helpful to someone who is out there thinking they failed because the almighty Pearson Vue Trick didn't work for them!
