Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
welll one of my friends from college tried the PVT trick a day after taking nclex..it said it went to the CC page.A day later...she went to the board of nursing site and it showed a license number..and she had passed.
I am NOT sure what happened to her...but she follwed the PVT trick word for word from this site.
could it be that your friend did the trick too early? and that she never checked on it again to see if it gives her a good pop up before getting her official result?
I took my NCLEX today. I had a little over 75 questions and so many SATA. I felt very unsure when I walked out. There were very few that I felt I really 100% knew the answers too. I did the PVT and I got the "good" pop-up, so hopefully this means I passed. Unfortunately, I still have to wait 48 hours to find out!!!
Took my nclex rn yesterday in il, 265 questions, that test was MURDER, i a bunch of teaching questions, 4 sata, 2 math, some meds (cardiac, psych, antibiotics), a few delegation. I was sure i failed because @ #165 i was cold, tired, and hungry as ever. One hr after on the road home after eating, i got the good popup. TOO EXCITED, im like me a real rn. I was more nervous the days b4 then on the test day. Good luck to all future nurses
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I graduated from LPN school Dec/07 took bords april/08. 85 ques...passed... However I am scared to death this time around... I took my RN boards Aug/05/2010.... Believing that iv'e failed i have searched every site available to get some sort of verification...when i stumbled across these post i reluctantly tried the pvt... I recieved the good pop up... I hope this is lagit.... I took the big 75... I wanted the computer to keep going but it didn't and i almost threw up... I sat in my car almost two hours trying to think of questions i may havemissed or gotten right.... I had lots of SATA, delegation, priority, infection control,meds,safety....I thought for sure i missed @ least 70/75..... Is anyone from arkansas? if so when did you get your results? I don't want to ask my nosey classmates... I will let everyone know if the PVT proved accurate with me...
So I just went to pv... I had a theory I wanted to test... Instead of trying to reregister for my RN boards I tried to reregister for my LPN boards( which i knew i had passed...being that i have been an lpn almost 3 years..LOL) I recieved the Good pop up..I was suprised to say the least.. I then tried again to reregister for my RN boards and voila... Again the Good pop up.... I feel better about the pvt... Though I will only be truly @ ease when I see the word" PASS"....
I'm one of the unlucky ones. I took my boards Aug 5th and my friend told me about the Pearson website. It took me straight to my credit card info. I am just sick! I thought in my mind that I passed. I had a job waiting for me to pass NCLEX so I could start. I got 202 questions, but I was told by others that it was okay, that there was still hope if it kept asking questions. My friend got questions in the 200's and passed and another got all 265 and passed. I will verify it tomorrow for sure, but I already know that when I check, a big fat 4-letter F word will be waiting for me. FAIL!
Hello future and current nurses,
I have a long history of test taking, and I've never had a good experience from it. I graduated as an RN back in 2000 ....taken the RN test 5 times and failed 5 times...I gave up, until two days ago when lots of people in my life pushed me into trying it again. Now married with 3 small children under the age of 6, compared to fresh out of college, I thought I'd never go back. However, thinking that the PN would be easier, I decided to take it. The test date was on Thursday August 5th at 2pm. I left the test like I failed. Guessed on alot, and I'm not a good guesser. A lot as changed as far as types of question formats. It use to be all multiple choice, and now it's got fill in the blanks, and check all that apply. When studing for about a month everyday, I felt some what confident about my knowledge in taking the test, except for the check all that apply. I would either miss one or choose the wrong one...making the whole question wrong. Of course that's exactly what half of my test consisted of. So needless to say I cried in my car for a half an hour and sat another 2 more hours looking up answers in my review book of some questions that I remembered from the test. Most were wrong. When I got home, my friend called me and asked how I felt about it, and of course I told her no way did I pass. So she had me do the trick and I got the good message. I didn't belive it. Has there ever been a false positive? I've heard of false negatives but not positives. Checked MA board licensure, nothing yet. But I will let you know.
