Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Ok Your Scarring Me... If I Wake Up In The Morning And That Trick Goes To The CC Page...I'm Going To Be Hotter Than Fish Grease. California Needs A Better Result System, I'm Going Crazy After Reading Your Post

well the trick worked for me as I keep doing the PVT 2-3x a day for 9 days and i constantly get the "good pop-up" and got hold of the result and I PASSED!

if you try it again and again, does it go to CC all the time?

The trick does work!! I have failed the NCLEX twice and each time I got the cc page!!

Took the NCLEX in VA at 1400 on Thursday, 8/5, reached 260 Q when it cut off. Did the PVT and got the good pop. I am hoping that this works since I have accepted a position at a hospital in TN. what I have read so far in this thread has been very encouraging. I have been on pins and needles ever since I finished the test. I want so badly for my career in nursing to begin. Have been checking the VABON verification hotline and webpage incessantly but nothing so far. This waiting is interminable. Does anyone know what the turnaround is for the VABON to post on the hotline and/or webpage. Thanks.

Well, it's official. I failed. I got the bad pop up and sure enough, this morning it said I failed. For those rare few of you out there that got the bad pop up, just know that you weren't successful. I have total faith in this system about good pop ups and bad ones.

I Took My NCLEX-pn Today And The Computer Shut Off At 85 And It Was Exactly 10:30am

I Did The PV Trick At 1:00pm....... Before I Get To Happy.. Did I Do The Trick To Soon? And It's A Saturday.......Someone Help Me

i did the trick about 2 hours after i took the exam in SD cali. i got the good pop-up constantly until for upto 9 days until i got the official result and it said HAS PASSED! you passed it... congrats! =D:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:

Why is it that people who said that the PVT does not work only have one one post here? hmmmmm...I smell a rat!!!:uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3:

Ok well one I am not a rat.... I simply was asking if anyone had this happen to them... Secondly I did not take the pole on weather I thought it worked or not! I did figure out why what happened, happened to me. When I recieved a pop up I didnt read what it said inside the pop up. Mine obviously was the pop up about my results being held. All I saw was I couldnt register at that time. So since I freaked out I satrted researching and found this forum and simply posted my story and simply asked a question. I now know that the pop up was over holding my results because I did fail.

I, like a lot of people who read this post, was extremely skeptical about whether or not this trick worked. I took my test at 8am on Friday Aug 6. I had 91 questions which took me about two and a half hours to complete. When the test shut off and I saw the blue screen, I thought there was no way I could have passed. I received about 5-6 SATA questions, lots of nursing priority questions (who should the nurse see first), along with psych questions and a lot of medication questions. I took the Kaplan course, which 'trained' you to answer questions correctly, however, once I sat down for the NCLEX, i literally felt that every question I had was tricky and had at least two completely right answers. Needless to say, I felt horrible coming out of the test, cried my eyes out when I got home and went directly online to look up all the answers to questions I remembered (BTW: DO NOT DO THAT, THAT IS THE WORST THING TO DO COMING OUT OF THE TEST!!!). Anyway, stayed up all night because I couldn't sleep, and came across this website and the trick. Of course I tried it, anxiety crazed and all, and I received the good pop up about contacting your Board of Nursing. I recommend everyone to try this trick. Although I was skeptical even after trying, it did help me get through the next two days. I received my "PASS" today and I couldnt be happier.

Good Luck to all those who still have to take it. Just be confident in yourself and FOCUS. Take the first 75 questions slowly...dont look at the clock and read carefully. If I could do it, you all can too!

THIS TRICK WORKS I TOOK NCLEX AUG, 6TH GOT MY RESULTS TODAY AND PASSED!:yeah::nurse::yeah:

hi all! :) i took my nclex-rn for the first time on august 5th. the computer shut off at 75 questions and i was positive that i had failed. it took me less than an hour. i had several prioritization, select all that apply, and medications. the test seemed impossible. i guessed on most of the medications and the prioritization questions weren't as easy as i thought they would be. i walked out and i cried all the way home. i did some research when i got home and i seen this site. i read a ton of the posts. so, i said, what the hell, might as well give the pvt a try. i was surprised when i got the "good pop up". it didn't let me re-register for the exam. a bit skeptical at first, i kept trying over and over again and each and every time i got the "good pop up". after reading the posts, i wasn't such an emotional wreck. two days later, i got my quick results and i passed! the pvt definitely works!! congrats to all of those who passed and good luck to all of those who are waiting to take the nclex. it is a very, very hard test and don't let it bring you down! an exam like this does not reflect your intellect and abilities as a nurse. we have all made it this far, so let's not give up now! :redbeathe

Hi all!

I took my NCLEX exam yesterday and have been pretty anxious since. I got 75 questions and then it shut off. I did the PVT and got the good pop up.. but that hasn't stopped me from continually doing in, just in case it was wrong - lol.

Word for the wise... don't take it on a Saturday - the wait is lonnnnggger....

As for trusting the pvt, it has given me a little less anxiety, but, when I see the little numbers next to my name on the licensure website, then I'll feel a lot better - God willing that happens.

Good luck

Well I took my nclex-pn yesterday at 8am. I was sure that I failed that I cried and called my classmates to tell them I failed. I studied for two months night and day for this test. I quit my job so that I could focus on the last quarter of school and study for this test. So I have alot riding on me passing. I had everything from peds, priority, meds, mental health, infection control and maternity. I didnt have many SATA thank God. When talking to one of my classmates she suggested the PVT trick. I was hesitant but due to my high level of anxiety I had to do it. I got the "good pop up" I almost fainted. I'm of course skeptical and I pray that it works. I read countless post that it has worked for many people here. I will say that this forum had helped my anxiety level drop and I was able to actually get out the house and not cry all day at home. I find out tomorrow hopefully. The lady at Pearson said to check Tuesday because I took it on Saturday. I'm going to check in the morning because so far as I have read everyone has gotten it in 48hrs including saturday and sunday. I hope this works for me.
