Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I posted yesterday about taking the NCLEX PN a few days ago and waiting for my "quick results". I did the PVT and I got the "good pop up". I looked at my quick results today and I PASSED!! The trick works! Congrats to everyone else who passed and good luck to all who's waiting to find out!
i took the nclex-pn 7/27 and i got the results today. pretty fast for califonia, 1 week and 2 days, wow! my computer shut off @ 85 and it was really a roller coaster of emotion. i tried the pvt trick and did it since day 1 until last night and i always get the "good pop-up". today, i got a letter from dca and hoping for a good news until i saw a piece of yellow paper attached, i was scared... when i opened the letter up... it said "has passed" in bold letters. omg! i did it... pvt does work, it worked for me now i am happy and trully blessed. i am indeed a nurse now.
just to share, here's the prayer i prayed before the exam. just try it, it won't hurt to try and i am an absolute believer of his greatness.
here's the 1st one:
here's the 2nd one:
prayer to st. joseph of cupertino for success in examinations.
this powerful prayer is very effective in examinations. it has to be said before appearing in the examination. there are two variants to this prayer. both the prayers are equally effective. you can choose any one of these:-
first prayer
o great st. joseph of cupertino who while on earth did obtain from god the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which i am now preparing. in return i promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.
through christ our lord.
st. joseph of cupertino, pray for us.
amen.
second prayer
o st. joseph of cupertino who by your prayer obtained from god to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. grant that i may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of examination) examination.
in return i promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.
o st. joseph of cupertino pray for me
o holy ghost enlighten me
our lady of good studies pray for me
sacred head of jesus, seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.
goodluck everyone!!! thanks pvt, it gave me hope! =d
Took the NCLEX PN on 7/27 too. My stomach's been in a knot ever since.
It's funny how my friend took the exam a day before me, and got her results in 4 days! Another friend had to wait 24 days, so I thought I'd have to wait about a month... Yea, CA is slow. But 9 days :w00t: :w00t: And we all passed. The only thing that gave me hope was this trick. I got the good pop-up, but I was just praying the trick still worked... and I guess it does!
Everyone's been getting 85 questions around me. And mine started with Pharma, and never really got easier, with questions alternating between SATA and priorities. Almost half my test was on pharma... which is why I figured I got em all wrong, and therefore flunked. But... I was wrong somewhere. And the man upstairs heard my prayers All that last minute(/week) studying of Lippincott really paid off. Woohoo! :smiley_aa:

Congrats to everyone who passed..I am a firm believer that this whole pearson vue re register thing works.. unfortunately for me I did not pass the Nclex. This was my first try and I put countless hours and days into studying and preparing, I knew all my labs to a T, Read an entire Nclex review book front to back and was scoring great on practice questions. I have been getting the CC page for 2 days and paid for the quick results this morning with a big fat FAIL. I hope i have better luck my next time around. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I've read in some other posts that people have used this book for priority/delegation information
Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for Medical-Surgical Nursing / Edition 2 by Linda A. LaCharity
I personally have not used it myself, but will definitely use it if I didn't pass my test.
It totally works 100%! I took my test on the 4th at 8 am, computer shut off at 75 questions 1.5 hours later. I was soo sure I failed, that test couldn't be harder! I had tons of SATA, which were all awful and tricky, tons of meds which we hardly touched upon in school and prioritization/delegation questions some of which were ok. If you took Kaplan they teach how to correctly identify stable vs unstable clients. Anyway, I never thought I passed! I relied on this thread for the past two days, glued to the computer and checking PVT, I got the good pop up the first time, for some reason I thought it might change. It didn't! Today I learned I passed!
Congrats to everyone! PVT works!

Hi all!
Took my NCLEX-RN today and this the trick. HOPEFULLY, it is true! Mine stopped at 75. Totally freaked out when it shut off on me, but I knew I did the best I could. Right now, I am a nervous wreck! So anxious to know already!
Will post if I passed or not :)
