Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Ok I got the good popup but steal freaking out because im unsure If I answered the yes/no questions properly. I answered no to all 3. But wasn't certain if I should have said no since technically I did take the exam.

OMG>>> CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, me again, do we pay for 'unofficial results' in 48 hours when they're available? So confused!

I'm home, after 75 questions. I swear to god I failed. Followed the step by step instructions for the PVT, and all I got was "this candidate has an open registration and a new registration cannot be made at this time." Nothing about contacting the state board of nursing!!!

Also, I cannot find the option to pay for unofficial results? I live in Michigan and I thought that was available.

Moved to the pearsonvue trick part 2 thread as we ask that all questions regarding this trick are kept together

Pearsonvue quick results are not available for 48 hours after you take the test (sometimes longer) and you have to pay to see them

I passed!!!! I am officially an RN!!!! This was my 6th attempt, if I can do it, you sure can!!!! Thank you so much allnurses.com!!!! :)

Hey it doesn't matter how you answer the questions. You will get tid same result. You can in on as many times as you want and choose a different answer but still get the same results. I tried it all different ways and I still got the same thing.

Thank you so much

My daughter , who took her exam in California on 7/16 , found her name posted this morning on the CA- BRN 7/22.:yeah:So it took 7 days to post. Good luck to all and for us the Pearson Vue "Trick" pop worked.

I just took the NCLEX yesterday at 2p est, had about 85 questions before it shut off. I was so sure I failed... then one of my friends told me to try this glitch... so I did about 24hr after taking the test, and got the "Good" Pop up. I am still really freaking out , but I have to say I got goose bumps all over when I saw that pop up! Still no License no. on the State website. I will update this thread as soon as i find out for sure.

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting! I hope you all passed!!:lol2:

PV Trick is 100% true. Took my test on monday the 19th @ 8am. Had 75 questions - took me about 1.5 hrs, thought the exam was to fair/easy (think this was because I studied content and questions) for me to have passed.....was sure I failed because I was looking for extremely hard questions but did not have any.....lol. Tried the PVT at about 5pm that night. Got the good pop up. Got my pass letter for the BON today. Can't believe I passed. God is good. He has never failed me.

Hey everyone!! Just following up on my post from last night. I got my results today and I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good pop-up thing works. My friend is taking it tomorrow and she is going to see what happens when she tries to re-register so I will update you all! :) Congrats to everyone my fellow RNs!!!!!!

I'm so glad you wrote this!! I still am questioning my 'good pop-up' because I too felt the test was too easy! I only had 5-6 SATA's. I also prayed my butt off! I tied a pocket rosary around my sweatshirt string. Of course they wanted to know if there was anything 'in it.'
