12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I have to say that the PV trick is 100% true because after 72 hs of taking that awful NCLEX RN test my name is there on the BRN website. I am a freaking nurse. I can't believe it.This is not a urban legend...it is real and true.
So people out there waiting for the results if you get the pop up that won't let you pay RELAX! because you passed. I AM GOING TO PARTY LIKE IS 1999!

It worked for me and I'm in NY.
The board generally seems to take between 7-14 days to post your number as well. I passed on July 2nd, it was up on the 12th - 10 days later.
The really "trick" reallyworks. I got the popup and now according to my SBON website, I am officially a Registered Nurse. To GOD be the glory great things he has done.
Just wanted to let you all know that it worked for me! Found out this morning that I passed! And I was so sure I failed, until someone told me to try it. So glad that it worked!!
I tested June 12,2010 in CA and thats for Nclex-PN and have been getting the good pop-up... I still feel there is No way this can be true...but will find out soon...
I passed my boards in June, but I did the PVT for my friend who took it today. She got the good pop-up except for the part that says please contact your Member Board. Is this something new on Pearson? Thanks in advance!

The good pop up says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." This supposedly means you passed.
