Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

what exactly did her pop up say?

The good pop up says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

It left out the part about contacting the Member board. I told her I think she passed since it didn't allow her to go through to the cc page, but I was unsure. Thanks again!

Pvt is 100% reliable, no doubt about it.. i have already tried it and it worked for me.. just like anyone else, i've been trying the trick several times everyday for about 3weeks and getting the good pop up until i finally got the result that i really passed.. its such a great feeling after a lengthy distress of waiting.. i wish gudluck to everyone.. just keep on praying and do your best on studying.. Pvt rocks! :lvan::bow::nurse:

I took my test at 8am this morning. It cut me off at 76 questions. I tried the trick and it is saying I have an open registration for this exam a new registraion can not be completed...... thats not on the list of things it could....so good? bad? indifferent? Anybody?

did the PVT, what does this mean "the canidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be completed at this time." does it mean i passed or failed? im freaking out! ugh:crying2:

I'm so nervous! My quick results will be in in an hour. I'm still getting the good pop-up so all I can do at this point is hope and pray for a pass.

hi all! i created an account just to post this message on here. i took my nclex yesterday (23rd) and let me tell you i was going into it thinking that i will be done in an hr or two max and will be cut off at 75qs. i had been studying for the past 2mths and was sure i was going to kick ass. i took my test at 2pm and at 4pm i looked up and i was on question 100 and freaked out like no other. i took a quick break for some composure and went back into the pit of hell. to make it short i ran out of time at 255qs, yes i spent the whole 6hrs. i was the last person there and was trying so hard not to burst out of that office crying like a toddler. i was positive that i had failed because i knew my last question (select all the above) that i got wrong. i drove home feeling like the lowest of the low and that i was such a complete idiot. i got home and did the trick and got the good pop-up. i am holding onto that little glimmer of hope that this trick will work for me as so many of the others have attested to this. i will post back once i confirm my test status.

from my point of view the nclex is nothing like what i had imagined. i'm a bs student and got 920 on my hesi and people told me i would do good. there a reason they give you 6hrs to take this test. i am just so glad that one of the most horrendous experience of my life is over with. i am crossing my fingers, my legs and my toes that i pulled off this miracle.

I passed!!!! PVT is amazing and it worked for me!!!

I have been studying for the NCLEX for 2 months. It was hard to focus on studying for something else, especially after being in school for 6 years. I took the Kaplan course and it really helped me get into back into studying. At first when I started to do the questions I felt like such an idiot. I was getting 50s and that was with me pausing the test to search for the answer. In my searching for nclex help I came accross this website. I started reading some of the threads about kaplan and I realized that I wasnt alone. So I just kept doing questions and trying to review content that I was weak in. I also used saunders nclex review (blue cover sorry but I cant think of the name because my brain is so fried) and the priorization, delegation book by lacharity. I just took my NCLEX today and I stopped at 75 questions. The kaplan course really gets u prepared for the nclex. I thought that the questions were almost identical to the kaplan qbank questions. I was so nervous that I was going to get alot of SATA questions. I only had 4 or 5. This website is such a great support for nursing students who are preparing for the NCLEX. I got home and did the "trick" and I got the GOOD POP UP!!!!!!! I hope the majority is right. Will let u know!!!!

I'm so nervous! My quick results will be in in an hour. I'm still getting the good pop-up so all I can do at this point is hope and pray for a pass.

CONGRATS!! :nurse::yeah:

My daughter got the "oh hold for a weekend" on Monday she got the good pop and on Thursday morning the California BRN posted her license. Stay calm and keep checking!

Hey all, I posted on here earlier saying that I had tried the PVT and had gotten the good pop up! The next day after taking my NCLEX exam and having it turn off at 75, my mom got onto the OBON website, and watched my license go from pending, to approved, to active!! :) PVT worked for me!!
