Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Keep your head up. I know u feel upset right now, but keep going and strive to meet your goal and dream. Take a break, then start studying again. I'm certain you will pass, stay positive, focus and have faith. Everything else will fall into place. Never ever give up. Good luck to you.
You can not take the NCLEX untill you have completed nursing school and your school submits satisfaction of requirments to the BON then you can apply for the license and schedule the examI was hoping maybe some you guys could help me cause i am confused about this NCLEX and when its the right time to take it.Right now I am taking my pre-reqs (science courses), i already have a BS in Sociology. Can i take the NCLEX now or do i have to wait?
Long time lurker here (since just before starting school)!
I took my NCLEX RN this morning @ 8:10am and finished at 9:10am. The test stopped at 75 questions. It took an hour for my status to be delivered. At 10:10am the pearson vue trick gave me the "pass message".
I also did not think the test was too tricky. I sure hope it was enough to pass! The next 48 hrs will be the longest EVER!
I took exam last Thursday. So worried...I got a good pop up everyday I checked and still checking. So scared to go out to find out my result through quick results, IT'S MY THIRD TIME taking this test. I pray to God every moment that He helped me through this. I hope I passed, its been so hard for me and my family. I had between 240-245 questions cant remember, didn't pay attention, had tons of select all apply tons of these, bunch of infection control, and meds I have never seen before. I am from MA, anyone from over here? How long ago did it take BON to post your licensure number? I am waiting for mine, I believe in God and want to believe in this trick. I hope that I PASSED. Pray for me!!!:crying2:

i know how you feel... really so hard esp for the family that expect you to pass. i can't fail them this time...same here, very anxious with the result waiting and it's my 2nd time already... and my PVT pop up says my "results are on hold" .. and im from CA, they don't participate in quickresult. ill have to wait for 2-6 weeks for my official result... what a torture.. and its been 4days since i took the test...just check it from time to time because like in CA they can possible post it after 3 days to 6 weeks after u took the test..
goodluck to us... and i know God will provide
Guys, I'm just wondering since I took my NCLEX at 8am and I was done by 10 with 75 questions. I tried the trick at 12PM and it gave me the good pop-up.
My question is, do I have to wait until 2PM for the pvt to work? Since usually nclex is 6hours. But in my account it stated delivery successful. Was I too early to check it?
Thanks! :)
