Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

my PVT just changed today after 5days i took the test. from on hold result to 'good pop up' may the Lord answer my prayer and see my name on the BRN site soon...

I took the RN test today in Pittsburgh (for Ohio Board of Nursing).....got there early and they let me start early. I got all 265 questions, lots of SATAs, several prioritizing, and left there with both my mind and my butt numb! I got the good popup though, so I'll let everyone know how it works out. Right now I'm just gonna be a slug!:dzed:

i just took the test feb 18 for lvn..my comp stopped @ 101..my friend said to try the PVT..and so i did..it took me all the way to credit card but wont let me pay though..does any of you experienced this matter..is the PVT really works?

I took my exam on Friday, 18th. I am in Virginia and had to wait for three days to get my results, because of holiday weekend. I did the trick and it gave me the good pop-up, which helped me to calm my nerves. Called this morning to BON and I passed:nurse:.

Good luck to all test takers:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe

I took my test on yesterday, February 21....and by the time I came home, I got online and did the PVT and the good pop up came....and today I got my results on BON....I PASSED!!! So yea, it works. Others had it too...and they passed! Yaaaay!!!

Should I pay for a Kaplan course??????

I am sorry u failed ur NCLEX first of all. I used Saunders 3rd edition book, 4th edition cd (this is the newest edition) and saunders Q & A For my NCLEX preparation and passed in 75 questions. I did questions everyday and took exams to see how well I did. I used the book because it was so informative and it provided NCLEX hints (which I found to help me alot w/NCLEX). The cd covers everything you need to know (math, disease process, prioritizing w/multiple, multiples, etc). The questions that I missed, I always read the rationales. Even if I guessed at a question and got it right, I still read the rationales, which provided a better understanding of the material. I paid a $ 50 deposit for the Hurst review, because I was paranoid of NCLEX, then lost my job and could not afford it. I thought without a review, that I would definetly failed. So I had no choice but to do it on my own. All I could do was pray to God and let him guide my studies in the way they should go. My friend did do the Hurst Review and passed in 75 questions, she says it was very helpful and that she would have not passed without taking the review. She says, "Hurst provided her with a breakdown of the info which gave a better understanding of the material." But for me I can truly say, I don't think I would have passed without using the Saunders. Good luck with your studying. Hope this information is useful to you. Always remember to pace your studying and take breaks in between, so you can absorb what you have learned. I will keep you in my prayers.

Congratulations on passing NCLEX!!!:dancgrp::yeah::yeah:

Hi all, i have a question, how do I check my name on BON? website or call?

They usually wont tell you anything over the phone. You go to your BON website, hit licensure that should be on left hand side, it will take you to the page. Then you put in your last name, first name, city and state. It should bring up your name and click on it, and then it will have your license number there. When did you take it?
