  1. Does anyone have report sheets or flowsheets that they find useful for work? I have the VS flowsheet they use at work, but I'd like to have one to keep for myself...one that is for each system, has space to write stuff etc. I wish I knew how to make one up myself, not really computer savy...Would greatly appreciate it. Thank YOU!
  2. Im looking for an ICU report sheet/flowsheet that I can use at work. I would appreciate any input...Im a new grad and Im still in that "write everything down mode", at least until I have the experience to do it without. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
  3. It has worked for all of my friends that I graduated with and have taken the test....we all had the good pop up..1 had the pop up of the results on hold, but she did end up passing....and 1 that took it and didn't pass, the trick took her to the credit card page. Im sorry Hope the next time, it will be the good pop up.....me and the girls got the KAPLAN NCLEX review book...read it from beginning to end and did all the questions and cd. Some of us also took a review class as well. Good Luck
  4. Are you going to stick around this place? I can't believe they put all that on you!
  5. I can't find the translation sheet. I clicked on where it said to click but nothing. I am hispanic, but I have alot of friends that this sheet would work for.
  6. I hear about all types of shoes to wear...not to wear...so Im asking my fellow nurses for their opinion. What to wear or not to wear. I had surgery on my knee in '07 torn meniscus...and sprained ankle in '08.
  7. My friend with the "results on hold" passed her test!!! Yaaaay for her!
  8. I took a review class....did you? And I totally recommend using Saunders too, I like the way the book outlines everything. But this book KAPLAN NCLEX-RN strategies, practice and review 2010-2011.....IS A MUST HAVE!! Read it from beginning to end, I swear to it. I can only speak from my experience, and of course several of my friends who were in school with me from day 1 used it too...and we have all passed. In school we were always tested by subject, know S&S...meds etc. I took the review class, Im from Ohio...Bustza review class is the BOMB! But anyway, I also read that book and it teaches you how to be ready for the questions on the nclex...totally different from school tests. As you can see, it's alot of PRIORITIZING....and the book teaches you how to look at it that way....ABC's....using Maslow....etc. Another book I used was PRIORITIZATION, DELEGATION & ASSIGNMENT. Im sorry about what you are going through...I hope your next one is successful, and if you don't have them books, get them...for sure the KAPLAN BOOK.
  9. Its ok...alot of positions are posted at various hospitals. The new grad program job is at University Hospital. Great reputation! Great pay. 20 weeks of orientation. The interview went well, I even asked him what attributes they were looking for in a NEW grad and he said alot of things...he mentioned how I am bilingual and that's a PLUS especially in the area of CLE. and that I am a great candidate for the job...but I called and they said that "Leadership hasn't made any decisions...and no time line as to when". Im new to all this...I didn't know if I was able to ask for time to decide. I spoke to someone and they said same thing..ask for time to decide, it's basically a lifetime decision and they should respect that...but IDK....with my luck...If I take the offer at #2...Then watch #1 call me...
  10. So far over here in Ohio....we see our name and license on it the next day....as long as people test from Monday-Thursday. If you get the good pop that is....the pop up that says "results on hold" some have said about 5 days. Did you try the trick?
  11. how do ya'll get them cute characters to jump around??? Spiderman, Wonderwoman....lol
  12. I got the same result on Monday after my test.....and the next day I was an RN!! I took the test with 2 other friends from my school....as soon as we got home we did the trick...we all got the "good pop up"....and all 3 of us passed!!!! I felt the same way too...I needed to see it to believe it...but I sat here and read a bunch of threads and replies from many people and not 1 person that had that pop up, not pass.....let us know!!
  13. I just passed my test, and need some advice. I went on 2 interviews and yesterday I got offered the job to one of them. I am not too thrilled about the offer, I guess because the other job is in Neuro ICU, a great hospital, and it's for new grads. Then I go to my job yesterday and I find out they have a position open, they had me fill out bid form. One is a for sure thing,if I want it. One is my #1 choice hospital, but not a for sure thing...and the other one isn't either! HELP! And how do I or can I even ask the offered job time to think about it??? :uhoh3::confused:
  14. Did you ever happen to find out what the "hold" was for? So far my friend hasn''t had the good one yet, but it's only been since Tuesday 2/22/11 when she took her test.... Congrats to you!
  15. Did you try to contact them? I know it's frustrating....but as you seen on these threads...good pop ups = RN license!!
