Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Everyone on here who passes the nclex says the trick worked for them, but I've yet to see someone who did receive the 'good' pop up and Failed. did anyone experience this?

I took the nclex pn today and wont be able to access my quick results until monday , so I tried the PVT and got the good pop up.

I was just wondering !

I'm as nervous as the rest of you. I took it last Tues 2/15 and feel like i have to start studying again. I did the trick and pop up alerted me to contact the Board and that I could not register @ this time. I hope its true... I won't slepp until I see the results wit my own eyes.

To everyone receiving the good popup. Congrats, the PVT really works. Although its hard waiting until you actually see your license, be confident u have passed. I have never seen it not work. 10 of us got the good popup and all of us are RNs now. Congrats Again.

OK, well here is my NCLEX story! I took it on 2-15. I had 75 quiestions and I came home feeling like I totally bombed it. I was searching the internet about the pvt because I had heard about it before. I had read about all the overwhelming testimonies about how it works so I decided to give it a shot although I was not totally convinced. I tried it and got the good pop up. It relieved a lot of my anxiety. I checked through quick results this morning and guess what I passed. I am a true believer in the PVT.:):D:D

I took the NCLEX-rn on 2-16. I got cut off at 75 questions. I have about 20-25 SATA and thought i was totally bombed that test. so i went home and did the trick. Got "good pop up" and still thought i still fail though.. so i check the result today and guess what I passed..

So the PVT trick does work.. it would work for everyone i think..

Good luck to everyone about to take their test :))

Congrats to you on passing NCLEX.:dancgrp::anpom::yeah:PVT works!!!

I am now believer in pvt.

Despite good pop up, I was very anxious because I didn't feel confident from very first questions and got some easy questions toward the end, including one involving simple arithmatic (not even med calculation) that doesn't even require calculator. I learned today that I passed.

CA BRN was quite quick, too. Took exam on 15th & found my name on 18th.

I wasn't sure if the Pearson Vue Trick works either but I tried it today after feeling like I failed the test....I got the good pop up and was like yeah right because my friend who took her test on Wednesday got an email from the BON the following day saying that she was a nurse and that they did not issue actual cards....then her name was also on the BON the following day and she also got the good pop up. When I did not get any info the following day I was bumbed; today is Friday and I still hadn't heard anything. It it now 540pm my time; went onto BON one more time after doing Pearson today and getting a good pop up. The first time I got the good pop up and checked the BON it did not say my name. I got discouraged again, so then I waited until business closing and checked again...my name was there and my RN # was there! Thank you GOD.
