Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Yeah, I received two emails. The first one didn't have the deadline on it though.

Same here....both same exact emails. Im hoping I get something this week, we'll be getting our acceptance or denials in an email, right? Just confirming :nuke: Good luck to us all!!!!!

Yes, acceptance or denials will come through the "my.pbcc.edu" site, possibly followed by an actual letter through snail mail, days later.

I am new to the forum. I got the two emails, but it didn't show whether I was denied or accepted on the application status page. I called the admissions specialist. She said she is giving everyone a chance to correct any discrepancies before approving or denying applications. She said that the status should be updated on Thursday. She is going out of town, so if it isn't updated by this Thursday, then it will be updated next Thursday!

Does anyone know if there was a lot of applications this semester? I am sure there is because it seems there always is. I was denied for Spring '09 because I only had 18.52 points. I have 25.60 points now, so I am real borderline. I only got an 88 on my NLN exam. I hope I get in.

I sure hope tomorrow is the big day! Also, registration dates post soon and will be based on our status as of June 23rd. Students admitted to limited access programs register first but again that will be based on whatever status we have as of Tuesday the 23rd. I've got my fingers crossed tomorrow is the day!Good luck to everyone!

I also called today just to confirm about tomorrow. The lady i spoke with said if we don't get anything tomorrow that it will be a week before we do get anything....I hope we get an answer tomorrow as well and i'll post as soon as i do! pinky promise :heartbeat

I checked my application status on PantherWeb. It just changed from "Complete" to "Accepted Nursing Day." I have 28.17 points.

Haven't recieved any sort of email tho, so I'm not completely sure....

Just checked mine.....It also changed from "Complete" to "Accepted Nursing Day." as well! 28.46 points. Still no e-mail confirmation though.... Good luck everyone!

I just checked my status too!! I was accepted with 28.87 pts!!! No email for me yet either. Good luck everyone!!! :up:
